Just picked up a rumble 40. Had an old laney rbw200 that was heavier and more than i need for just playing at home that just stayed in my closet [got it when younger and more often played with friends]. So light.. Also nice that every store has one so know what other basses will sound like when dorking in a store.

Lolll "dorking" in a store...I found more times than I care to remember dorks were running the stores/music shops and their advise next to useless..lol Hope you enjoy your Rumble 40...great line of Fender amps methinks.

Came with very minimal documentation

Last page of Users Guide on top of glossy quick connect guide pictured

Wi-Fi and Bluetooth streaming are easy, even with hidden network, no problem connecting. Was able to stream music from phone and play along with song with no trouble

Oh my god. I get goosebumps thinking about it. Just had to give it a heads up from across the room. All I have is geek love for this amazing thing. Way too biased to give reasonable review now.

The Expanded Owner’s Manual referred to in pic is NOT yet available at Fender website yet
Nor is the Fender App updated to work with / recognize the Amp yet
But that is the risk of early adoption. Support will catch-up soon.

It is a blast to play with.

I have written and edited and erased this paragraph, repeatedly, for the past 10 mins. I can’t tell you how much I love this amp without sounding like a madman. So I’m going to stop trying and go play on it some more.

I’m really happy I waited and got this over the Rumble 500.

I’d be very interested to know how it compares to the 500c with regards to weight.
