I think I can get away with this on a Friday? To me, it is more than just about Fender Rumbles. Fender just happens to be what I play. Stratocaster, Telecaster, and Precision. This is my new amp. Already retubed, biased, and a speaker upgrade. Looks nice with a Tele Elite, I think. Thing is, for the best results, in my opinion, you play Fender guitars and Fender basses through Fender amplifiers, and you can't go wrong. Nothing against other brands, at all. They all make good backups. The same way Fender Rumbles and basses fill a room, so do Fender guitars and amps. Now you put those together and you have my favorite combination of great tones. Happy Fenderday! We now return you to your regularly scheduled program: Rumble On.

A while ago someone in the Rumble club bought a Mud Stand for a Rumble combo. I have a Rumble 100 and would like to buy one, any idea if the Mud Stand mini works.

It held my R200. Best if on its side, but the R100 Should be OK.(limit is 40#, I was concerned about tipping over) Can't find pic on its side. Here's vertical.

Absolutely agree. I used to play gigs with a Tele and a Hotrod Delux, tone for days and brutally loud.

NKD! (New Knob Day):roflmao:

I normally couldn't give two hoots about the cosmetic appeal of knobs on an amp. But I just wasn't diggin' the stock knobs on the R500 head. Thanks to Blad-N-Bassy for the suggestion and link, I too ordered the knobs from Amazon. I really like the visually subdued appearance of the black knobs. The black knobs are slightly smaller and use a set screw for securing it on to the pot shaft. Along with the 10 knobs, the package also includes a small screwdriver, nice.

It's been about 6 weeks since I got my R500 head and it's all I've been using, haven't touched my other amps in that time. I just keep getting more and more impressed with this amp. I've been through about a dozen Class D amps in the past 10 years or so, thank you TB classifieds, haha. I should have started with Fender!
Happy Fender Friday fellow Rumblers!
