Lita FordWonder....what are the best knobs for metal?![]()

Didn't notice at first look they're on a 500 AND a 500c. Since I'd be the only one to see them on my 200c, I thought I'd not bother. Now I gotta rethink that. Hmmmm. Edit: Ordered 2 sets for R40 and R200c. Should look amazing!Swapped the cream knobs out for some black ones. Here are a few photos.

I know a knob lives down the street who plays metal...and believe me he's the best knob for metal in my street.Wonder....what are the best knobs for metal?![]()
Hi, . . . I'm trying to hear from people comparing it to the Bassman 500 head.
I own a Bassman 100T head and it's absolutely incredible but it's not quite powerful enough for my gigs and heavy enough to be a pain.
I want a piece of that vintage tone, I know I won't get it all with solid state but any comparisons would be greatly appreciated. Rumble 500 vs Bassman 500.
My Bassman is my main amp. My Rumble 500 is my backup. I bought the Bassman for those advantages you stated. I don't really have a schelp factor with the head. It is 17 lbs and I only left it put it in the cart or on top of the cabs. And I'm older than you.
Thanks @G-Dog , I'm actually gonna go with the Bassman 500. Found a decent deal on one on ebay and couldn't pass it up. Plus I love the vintage channel and the flexibility of the overdrive channel on my 100T. I don't care about the overall size of it, just happy it's so much lighter than the 100T for gigging.
The Fender way is the right way. Even when I am buying a left handed Fender bass, I am doing the right thing. You can't go wrong either way.

My wife and 2 out of our 5 kids are leftys! I've learned that they are not as right as the rest of us, but they are just as correct (if not more so, in my wife's case)![/leftthumbsup]

Ya mean two lefts don't make a right???.
Two lefts make a U-turn. It takes 3 lefts to make a right.

So, take that with a grain of salt.
. I certainly can, but just don't find it quite as simple as the Bassman. YMMV of course
