Fender Rumble Club

Any of y'all notice a difference using an active bass vs a passive bass with your Rumble V3s? There's no active input or selectable pad, though I don't suppose that's always needed.

I've demo'd a 500 and a 200 and both sounded fine with active and passive pickups, but I never thought about A/B-ing through the same amp until recently.

Nothing to concern myself with?
I have two active basses and two passive ones, and hardly touch the gain knob at all. My passive Fenders actually run hotter than my active EBMMs, but no two are alike. I find it easier to just adjust the volume control on each one.

Well had the chance to see how the new replacement head, handled the Texas heat, 5 hour gig ( open mic ) in 96-98 degree afternoon heat, with the afternoon sun beaming on the amp, didn't cause anything, hopefully that's the end of it, time will tell

Well, at least you had the screw driver handy, just in case ;).

Glad to hear it. As if you didn't know, the hottest summer on record is forecast for the southwest. Maybe you should keep your new Rumble in the shade from now on. ;)
