That's right! A deuce! As in a 1932 Ford coupe hot rodded.A deuce?
When I utilize the Vintage voicing, I like to use a bit of overdrive too in order to simulate a wide open 1960's Fender Bassman. So I keep the gain at its lowest setting = 7 o'clock. If I can get away with it, I'll run the master at 3 o'clock. It's important to use all the watts the power amp has to offer. Brown & Black faced Fender Bassman amps had no master volume, so the power section was wide open all the time. Master volumes came into existence with the 1970's silver faced amps.So when engaging the Vintage tone button, it is best to bump the gain up a bit higher, to get the most out of it? Usually, I have the gain at about 11 o'clock, volume controls on bass almost wide open, then set Master for overall volume.
Vintage + overdrive seems to be the secret recipe for getting that old Bassman sound. My first amp was a '75 silverface Bassman 50. When I add a P-bass with flats into the mix, I feel like breaking out the bell bottoms. When I utilize the Vintage voicing, I like to use a bit of overdrive too in order to simulate a wide open 1960's Fender Bassman. Good question, and no, not in its entirety (although it is pertinent to V3 Rumbles). Each amp has its own preamp that is modeled as closely to the original as possible, and you have to treat it as such. You do not treat the 'Rockin' Peg' (SVT) like a Dual Showman. You do not treat the 'KGB' (GK) like an SWR. If you are EQ challenged on a single amp just imagine how flummoxed you'd be with 15!wait hold on, does that whole gain stage article apply to the new stage 800? i've been using master as just a master volume and adjusting gain based on whether or not it's active or passive. my master never goes past like 9:00...with my Ray34 and it's active EQ, i blast everything on 10 on it, and then on my amp my gain is extremely low, and my master only around 9. i def couldnt get my master to 12:00, because my gain is practically at 0 as it is lol

What are you looking for exactly? Village People Y.M.C.A.? Super Slap? Gail Ann Dorsey (my fave) playing live with David Bowie?anyone got any cool settings for a nice stingray tone? couldn't find any on the app.
I recently bought the 210 cover, and I agree its a good cover for the price. However, imo its more of a "dust" cover than a protective cover. It works well for minor scrapes and against dust, rain and such, but you may want something a little thicker if your hauling your cabs around in a truck with frequent unload/loading.So I've had the covers for the Fender Rumble amps for awhile but never used them till today.
Fits perfectly on the 200C, but can't fit on the 1X15" cab. The cab is a bit wider than the combo, something I don't really mind when stacking them. But just in case someone hasn't seen that, the cover won't fit the 1X15" cab. It's bigger than the combo ... which has a 1x15" driver in it.
Anyhow, I put the wheels on the cab so when stacked I can just wheel that poopie around to position things.
Anyhow, maybe that's old news to most people, I'm not put off by it or anything. Gonna gift the extra cover to a bandmate who needs one for a guitar amp ... nice covers for a cheap price, really.

+1. Ive got two 210 rumble cabs, one has a cover from "Custom Amp Covers" and the other has a cover from Fender. The one from "Custom" is a lot thicker and has a protective felt lining, although it is twice the cost of the Fender cover. So if you need light duty/dust cover, the Fender cover is a great deal and looks sharp. However, if you need something a little more protective, "Custom Amp Covers" is a great choice as well....made right here in Michigan.Custom Amp Covers on covers , I use these people for everything , great covers every time , great to deal with . I wonder why I never got a "like" from my comment in the TB thread called...
What Can We Possibly Expect From Yamaha Taking Over Ampeg?
My comment was...
"Increased sales of Fender Rumble series amps".
