Thank you all for all your replies. I want to find the tweeter/horn switch on my Rumble, but I do not see it. All I see in the back is a ground switch. Vintage. Contour. Bright up top. I want to make sure the tweeter/horn is off, lol, if it is not. Thanks for all your help. The Tone Pool spreadsheet (especially upright & Motown ones) and picking way up toward the neck are giving me sounds I want. Then during solos, I can play with octaves, do a fill or two, or get "flashy." Y'all've been a huge help. Thank you!!!

Which model do you have? It should be on the back of the cab about an inch from the top and slightly left of centre.

This is soooo funny! You don't have a tweeter/horn. You've got a V3 Rumble 100 1x12 combo. No Horn = No Horn Switch. D'Oh!

I'm sure you all been waiting and wondering if I went with the Rumble 40 as my gigging bass....well, yes I did! I even added a Hofner Club bass to the order to really lighten up my gear.

Used the Rumble 40 at band practice this week (DI'd into the desk) and it was fantastic. I think it was the right choice. As a stage monitor at bigger shows, maybe it won't work out, but I'm thinking of selling my Markbass Jeff Berlin and getting a larger Rumble for bigger gigs.

Playing a Squier Bronco (& a Squier Tele CV) through a Rumble 500. . . . . Where is the "tweeter switch" mentioned? I don't see one, just a ground switch. Is it inside the amp itself?

@doctordan, your post said 500, which the combo does have a horn switch.
However, your signature says 100, which does not have a horn or switch.
If you don't have the switch, maybe it really is a 100, and the post was a typo?

Nice rig. I use a 100 if there is a FOH and a kickback stand so I can point it at me so I can hear it. It is worked well for that. I don't thing the 40 is up to that.
