My only cab at the moment is an Eden 210XLT. Haven’t tried it with the rumble 500 yet, but I did audition the head through a Rumble 115 cab and was pretty impressed. It really is a shame they ditched the 112’s.I have a Bassman 500 head (basically like a fancy Rumble 500 head) and I'm loving the Bassman 115 neo cab with it, although I've seen a lot of BM500s with one or two Rumble 115 cabs, too.
I've also used my Rumble 500 combo with the Bassman 115 neo cab on a few occasions, to truly awesome effect! But, I believe, most Rumblers prefer the Rumble cabs, where there are no bad choices.
I got mine b4 they were discontinued. I've used it twice(under my R200c). Nothing wrong with it, it's just too much for the places we play. I plugged my 14 y/o Bassman 25 into it and it sounded great but that kinda defeats the purpose of going light. If I was starting over with Rumbles, I mighta gone 200h and 2x112s.My only cab at the moment is an Eden 210XLT. I’m really feeling 15’s or 12’s for my next set up. But that’s down the road a ways.I got mine b4 they were discontinued. I've used it twice(under my R200c). You and me both.My original amp was one(actually 2)of these:View attachment 3265051 50W into 2x12s. I regret selling them.![]()
Maybe this would do the trick?Still on the fence about picking up a Rumble Studio 40. As mentioned before, I already have a Rumble 500 V3 210 and love it. But trying to justify the 40 Studio just for the vintage amp sounds and smaller footprint at home. I like the idea of presets, but not much of the type to deep dive into something because the next thing you know it's been an hour and you're still twiddling knobs. I've been down that rabbit hole with guitar effects. Big reason I went with just one P Bass and the Rumble 500. Super simple...but would be nice to have a B-15 in my living room or an SVT tone for a fraction of the price and size.

I would go for 2 * Rumble 115:s. That's what I did and I haven't looked back. Excellent sounding rig with all the power you need.

Ampeg SCR-DI - Bass Preamp with Scrambler Overdrive
You could pair that with a regular 40c for home, and have that for gigs as well.
(Havent actually tried one, just been seeing them and thought it might check your boxes)
Never heard one of those, but the Tech 21 VT sound good as wellLove the sound of mine, plus it serves as a great practice tool and a backup "amp".
I started out thinking two 210's were my best bet. That gives me a 4x10 setup when stacked. Then I saw that the 410 itself was only $50 more than one of the 210's, so I thought for a bit that maybe I should get one 410 and one 210. And I'm STILL not sure that would not have been the better setup... BUT, then I realized I don't gig (yet) and even if I did it would be small coffee shops and wineries. Heck, one of the 210's is probably more than I'd ever need. But with two I can leave one at the house and take the other to the winery stage - then I'm just hauling the 500 Head back and forth. So that's what I did...
Ya know, I get it. My music seems to come out honky-tonk yet vaguely trippy at the same time. & you know what my set up is? The Squier Bronco or Classic Vibe Tele through the Rumble. My tone gets cleaner the older I get but no less loud. I like wah-wah & would like to experiment with a bass wah after I Dave Ramsey the rest of my remaining debt. That way I could do that pedal steel maneuver where the volume swells then the wah after hitting the note.I like the idea of presets, but not much of the type to deep dive into something because the next thing you know it's been an hour and you're still twiddling knobs. Never cared for the Markbass Sound! Love my Rumble!!I sat in at a "jam" session last week. I used a friends Markbass amp that was there. Out of consideration for him, I didn't fool with the EQ. I was seriously unimpressed. I'm fairly certain I could get a sound I liked out of it but there wasn't that much time.
