Fender Rumble Club

Oops! Forgot my own rumor/wish, the Rumble 212, available in both 8 and 4 ohms, for pairing with the Stage 800!

I agree but, I think this logo is much better for black on black...

I can see that. And it's easily changed.

But, since Fender has already issued the Studio, Stage and 210 blk-on-blk with the more vintage flat logo I'd expect the 212 to come that way, too.

I mean, yeah, I fantasize, for sure, but, you know, like, in a totally realistic way, man!

Yo yo yo my homies - I'm sure a compressor will work in front of the amp as well as in the effects loop but is there a generally preferred spot to put it in? I'd try it myself but at the moment I don't have a compressor.
I don't like compressors as they rob you of subtle dynamics. However if you're just banging it out like no tomorrow, and have no dynamics to worry about just put your compressor between your bass and amp. If you're slap happy, you need a compressor as your signal peaks are all over the place. If you are fortunate enough to have an all tube amp, you have all the natural tube compression you need. Just play.

I agree Linnin and that's why I don't currently have a compressor - I normally don't use one. But the church group I'm playing with is going to benefit from some slap here and there so that's why I'm looking into this. Thanks for the heads up!

When it comes to compression, don't cheap it out. Good ones are damned expensive. I much prefer Pentecostal congregations where the all tube Fender amps sing in tongues.
