What's going on with those flat fender badges? None of mine are like that (Bassman 500 & Rumble 410). Mine all look like this.

When you said "don't cheap out" you meant it! Right now that's outside of my price range but I'll keep that in mind when more $$ free's up. For now I'll probably have to go with a simple stomp box type in the 100-200 range. Hopefully it will be good enough at least for now.I guess my favorite compressor is the Fender Super Bassman. It is a bit spendy at $1700, but it is a good one. Better than most compressors as it has 300 all tube watts built in, and a pretty spiffy overdrive to boot. Not too shabby.
I do all my home goods shopping at Bloodbath and Beyond.I googled it. Surprisingly, there are a bunch listed including Amazon. I think mine came from there or possibly "Bed, Bath and Beyond"(?) Good hunting.![]()
Since getting my Super Bassman in 2012, I've not used any fx pedals except for a EHX Micro POG for an octave up, and sometimes octave down effect. The amp is just THAT good. The onboard drive is very adaptable that I've not used/ needed anything extra. When you said "don't cheap out" you meant it! Ooops, I misinterpreted - I thought it was a $1,700 COMPRESSOR, not an entire amp!Since getting my Super Bassman in 2012, I've not used any fx pedals except for a EHX Micro POG for an octave up, and sometimes octave down effect. That said, my Rumble 500C is a super bit of kit too. It gets used just as much as the SB, primarily for rehearsals, but also for many gigs that have difficult load ins etc

It's very full featured.Having read through a bunch of reviews it looks like the Seymour Duncan Studio Bass compressor is very highly recommended. $170.

Welcome Rumbler #1021! So how's it working out for you? Rumble On!Oh dear, sorry about taking so long! Here ya go![]()
Welcome! The rumble 115 V3 are very nice, I gots two...Nice looking rig you have!Hi All!
New member. I’ve had the V3 500 2x10 combo for a month or so now and enjoyed it but felt something was missing. It felt like at higher volumes with my G&L L2000 I’d have to dial out a fair amount of lower mids to keep it from farting out. I know the L2000 has really hot pick ups, but it just wasn’t quite the sound I was after.
Yesterday I picked up a 1x15 V3 cabinet to go with the combo and couldn’t be happier. This thing punches so hard! So looking forward to gigging with this.
