Fender Rumble Club

Here're the "relic'ed" knobs on my Rumble head:

Yeah. Dang, I like yours a lot better!
One other club member reported discoloured knobs a while back. Fender tech support was very quick and efficient, sending him a new set under warranty.

Sounds like Fender had a batch of bad knobs that slipped through QC, and they've been replacing them. Given that you don't like the "relic'd" look, why not get on board that train?

Lol, those are the settings to demo the knobs :)

Given that you just unboxed it, are still within the retailers return period, discolored knobs, and odd noises, I would try to arrange an exchange with the retailer for another one, let them deal with fender support...

Not to brag on mine, just stating a counter point to the troubles you have had... My Rumble V3 500 combo has that I can tell thus far been flawless.

Yeah, that's my inclination. I'd like to recreate and confirm the issue if I can make the time (a challenge with 3 kids under 8 and being Mr.Mom while my wife works lots of evening overtime in January) before doing so, but I'll just initiate the exchange if I'm unable to test it more.
