Fender Rumble Club

I have, I can tweek it to sound about as good as my Super Champ X2 head, get a cleanish sound with a bit of dirt and use a pedal (Barber GCX) for more glorious gain.

I haven't tried it with the band, but it's got plenty of volume IMHO :D
Appreciate that. I'd offered to let the guitarist use it. He was concerned about blowing it up. He's not a loud player so I wasn't worried. It's much lighter than the rig he's using.

The 40 sounds fine with guitar w/o having to do extreme EQ adjustments, but the 100 has too much low-end that needs to be dialed out. It's also missing some high-end.
Thanks, guys. I thought I recalled a coupla people mentioning playing guitar through one, but at this stage I'm lucky to remember my na.....oh, look, a possum!

Any more opinions on the Rumble Studio 40 vs. the LT 25? Still can‘t decide which one I should take. The Studio 40 for the better speaker and the possiblity to take the amp to accoustic sessions or as a monitor to small gigs - or take the LT 25 and save the money for a Rumble 200 when I‘ll need an amp to play gigs with?

I considered the LT25 when I first found out about it. But one look at the back, compared to the Studio, clenched it for me. I wanted to use it as a pre-amp to my Rumble 500 combo and the LT25 doesn't have an easy way to do that! No FX loop, no XLR Out, nothing but a USB. Not enough flexibility for me.

The LT also doesn't have near the number of presets, nor the wifi or Bluetooth of the Studio, and I dunno if it's expandable. So, my choice was very clear.

The LT may be great for home & studio use. But I want the full package and, for me, it's my new Rumble Studio 40.

Thing is you could have gotten just the R40 and purchased a seperate Bluetooth unit for it. I use my R40 as a monitor behind me on an amp stand XLR'd into the PA. I did upgrade the speaker in it and added a Motorola tweeter with a crossover. I also put in line from the Output Trans a cutoff switch so I could use my BXD210H Fender external cab by shutting off the combo's speakers. But that was me wanting to modify. Video is under Amps and Cabs. Have fun because they are a workhorse of an amp.

Hmmm, there's a separate Bluetooth unit that's able to change the EQ of an amp?

I'd have also had to buy a used Fender Mustang Floor pedal to get any different amp modeling! :woot: And not sure if it works with a separate Bluetooth unit, either.

I'm not all that mod-handy, and the Studio already comes with everything pre-packaged (including a horn with on/off switch) and ready to rock right out of the box. That's for me!

Of course, YMMV. :)

For $350 USD the Studio 40 is a bit of a no-brainer.
However, it does have the same no-name 10" driver as the "regular" 40, so it could probably do with an upgrade.

I'm afraid of upgrading mine, because I like how punchy it is, & I'd hate to lose that for more bottom-end, which I think is what other bass players love in an upgrade.
Then it might not also work with guitar, which wouldn't ruin my life, but it would stymie the option of playing guitar through it also.

I've got the VOX for that, but the Studio has the pitch-shifter, which is handy.

Anyone play guitar through a Rumble 40? And how'd it sound? Thanx.
We have tested a r100 with a semi-hollow /w humbuckers, worked quite well, just crancked a bit of mids and lowered the bass a little.
Also the OD channel was quite pleasing specially with neck pickups.
Lots of attack, punch and creamey goodness!
Don't hesitate to test and experiment.

Woohoooh! I’m in! Just took delivery of a 500v3 210 combo. Dialled a nice tone in straight away. Now all I need is a P bass with flats (GAS just won’t stop).
welcome Rumbler # 1053! That's okay. Your Rumble will make even basses of lesser stature sound really good, but still, the P with flats, well, you know, GAS and all. Rumble On!

Do you own the 100? If so, let us know and will make you a member with your own unique number.

I have a one in one out policy. Looking to shift a Läkland Skyline first. It’s nice and all that, but I’m more a steak than foie gras kind of guy.
