Fender Rumble Club

You don't owe me an apology at all. Like I say I've been away and not really a participant so no issue at all. Thanks for the kind words all,it's nice to have a place to be. So it's I who most likely owe you guys the apology. I go in and out, I have not been very good about keeping in touch and when I do get in touch I feel kind of lost. Anyway BOOHOO I know. I have to pull out of this debilitating down I've been.in. Sorry for being so whiny, carry on.

Welcome, Wally! :) I'm sure Gravedigger Dav would be happy to induct you into the club, if you'd just show us a pic of your Rumble. We love to see 'em.
I am deeply honored gentlemen, herewith a pic of my rig:

That's a lovely Rumble 500 combo and a beautiful Mustang, Rumbler #1050! What color is that pickguard? I can't tell what is design versus reflection on it. The 'Stang has come a long way since my '71.

Blackstar Unity Combos and Powered Cabinets

What's the verdict on the blackstar unity?? Bit of rumble competition I hear!!! Anyone tried one yet Im intrigued actually
I’ve seen them, but haven’t had a chance to try them out yet. They’re good, by all accounts. Build quality seems good, and the size, if not the weight, is comparable. I would probably have looked very closely at them if I hadn’t already owned a great Rumble rig. :)

I'm a keyboard player and a new convert. The Rumble 40, or even better a pair of Rumble 40 amps for stereo, with Baslite 2010 speakers, are great for Organ and Fender Rhodes electric piano. Deep lows and smooth mids, no god-awful horn or tweeter screaming at you. And only 17 pounds, my back owes Fender a lot of love. Keyboard players are unaware of this amp, I will try to spread the word. The Rumble 40 is far better at this job than the "full range" Roland KC keyboard amp crap.

Welcome Rumbler #1056! I loaned a keyboard player my 100 once and we were both impressed with how it sounds. Spread the word and Rumble On!
