Fender Rumble Club

Ready for my number, please! A pair of brand-spankin' new 115s came today. Fortunately/unfortunately, I found a buyer for my old amp, which means I don't actually have a head to play these with yet! At least they make nice eye candy while I wait for a new head to arrive.

Welcome Rumbler # 1052! Sorry I missed your post earlier. Hope you got that head by now so you can Rumble On!

Sometimes his way of imparting that knowledge rubs people the wrong way. Unfortunately, tone of voice doesn't translate to print.:rollno:
Yeah, you know how those old guys are. They can be really grouchy.

It amuses and satisfies me that it has a vintage look, but is actually a Class D amp, Rumble cabinets, and a 2018 Player Series p-bass. ;)
I know. I own one. It is my main gigging rig. I use 2 1x15 neo bassman cabs. It is actually the same power section as the Rumble 500. It just has the tube preamp and the extra EQ goodies in a cool retro box. Makes me feel right at home.

Ladies and gentlemen!
I'M FIRING UP MY NEW RUU-UUM-BLE!!!
My Studio front.jpg

And, NO, this is NOT a stock photo, or a pic found on the internet (until now). I took this shot of my brand new Fender Rumble Studio 40! Yes, I've been gasing for a Stage or Studio since they came out early last year, and I've been rationalizing that I still have, and still use, a perfectly good Fender B-DEC 30 modeling bass amp (the granddaddy of the Stage and Studio, even previous to the Bronco 40). And, I've always said that someday I would have a Rumble Studio 40, even if I had to wait several more years for the B-DEC to need replacement. Well, life is too short for that cr. . . .

Today, my Rumble brothers and sisters, the prophecy is fulfilled! Yay, half a league onward, into the valley of Death, rode the Rumbler #600 to battle the demons of G.A.S.! And I did smote their ruin upon the mountaintop! And, verily, even now doth the Holy Grail soothe my wounds and slake my thirst for angelic bass choirs of heavenly bass hosts singing in various timbres and harmonics of melodious tongues, "Hallelujah! Hallelujah, in the highest!"

I've heard it said here, and I sometimes had my doubts, - I mean, my Rumble 500 combo has been just awesome for the past 4 years - but, now I'm a believer that . . . .
Mo' Rumbles Is Mo' Betta!
'Cause I can always enslave the R500c to the Studio to get the different tones I want for any size gig. Heck, I can even enslave my Bassman 500 w/115 neo cab with the other channel for STEREO bass goodness with 740 watts behind it!

Can you pair a 500c with a studio40? How many watts is that then, 390?

That was then, this is now. Don't confuse the issue with facts! The 19 lb. Studio is still significantly less weight than the 33 lb. B-DEC, even if it is almost twice the weight of the 9.9 lb. Vox. And what I get from the Studio I can't get from anything else.

Plus, I just LOVE controlling it from my phone!

Sure, Rumbley! An instrument cable from the Studio's left channel (mono) FX Send to my R500c's FX Return and, PrEsTo(!), 390 watts behind the Studio sound, all controlled from my phone!!

[Also, another instrument cable from the Studio's right channel FX Send to my Bassman 500's FX Return and, ShAzAm(!!), 740 watts behind the STEREO Studio sound! Who needs a Stage 800?]

SWEEEEEET!

How amazing are rumbles? Learnign something new everday!!

Enjoy your new amp! Please keep Rumblin'!

So for a hot minute everything sounded like supreme garbage through my Rumble 200 going into my Ampeg 15 with a much better upgraded speaker than stock. The 15 sounded great with the 500 Rumble combo I had so dunno what happened...hooked it up to my Ampeg 2x12 and it sounds glorious again. I think the 15 is getting temperamental lol. I might need to get a new cab for the 200, My Quilter loves the 2x12 too. Cryin shame to have to accommodate my amps, don't want them getting jealous.:roflmao::roflmao::roflmao:
