I honestly can’t think of a genre a Rumble can’t handle. At any rate, the Stage 800 can transform into just about any bass amp in the known universe, so you should be fine.
Well, I'm 55, still pretty old for that genre. I started playing bass 5 years ago. That's what I wanted to do when I was ten years old or so. On my 50th birthday I decided to do what I always wanted. That started a whole series of good things in my life.

It’s a 2011 60th Anniversary. Been my main player since I bought it in 2011. Best sounding P I’ve ever owned.

Sure is. Best combination a lot of Rumble owners seem to think is the best although most Rumble combinations with ext. cabs like a 200C plus a 115 or 2x10, 4x10 etc seem very popular too. The consensus is that Fender Rumble owners support the facts that there are no bad cominations of Combos and Extension cabs. I love the power, depth, clarity and weight of this 500C and 115 every chance I get to use it.

Forgot to tell you guys that last week I was pumping away on my Ric through the Rumble 500C and the 115 cab completely oblivious to the world around me and the darn amp cut out. Holy crap I hurt it was my first thought till Mrs. Rumble owner wandered in and said wooooo that was one heck of an electrical storm...looks like that big roll of thunder just killed the power...PHEWWWWWWW
Looks like the powerful Rumble 500C was overshadowed by the biggest rumbler in the world. Thunder and Lightning.
If I had known there was a storm raging outside I would have run about the house like a headless chook (chicken for you other chaps) turning off the telly, computers, and all electrical sensitive products in case of a power spike.
Thank goodness the Rumble just shut down with the power outage that day and It wasnt Mr Giff and Mr. Ric blowing things up...that hasnt happened since the mid 80's lolll

My MK did come with roundwound phosphobronzes as far as I could tell. Can’t stand the round wound feel. And they exaggerated every finger movement and fret contact sound. So, D’Addario tapewound were the answer, also to get closer to an upright bass sound. I think the OEM strings were better for unamplified playing, but this thing is too pretty to have around the campfire...
