Fender Rumble Club

I’ve decided to pick up a Rumble 25 this weekend for practising at home after reading the complimentary comments in this thread.

The LT25 is only £36 more but I haven’t seen much feedback for this amp. Is it worth the little bit extra for the onboard effects or is it better to stick to the highly rated standard amp?

For the price, go for the LT!

Yes, great value at that price! It's presets, amps and effects are not as extensive as the Studio & Stage, and it doesn't use wifi or Bluetooth. But, at that price it's gotta be the most versatile 25 watt bass amp anywhere!

I only play at home for learning and practice and really like my LT25...The effects and digital screen (a little small but very usable) make it worth the extra money. I use it for my electric and a/e guitars too and think it sounds good with all of them, even my tenor a/e uke....:bassist:

Today I'm reviewing a Rumble 100-sort of. At this afternoon's open mic/jam, one of the guitarist's amp took a :poop:. The organizer of this fiasc...er, jam had brought his R100(in case I was unable to make it, someone else would use it). The guitarist hooked up his pedal board into the R100 and played the gig. It did fine. Bs-9, LM-9, HM-9, TR-3. Gain noon, Volume dimed. It was loud!

we had the same good results with a semi hollow guitar plugged. even OD was really fine with it! just needed to roll off some bass.

So. My floor resonates with the Rumble 100 sitting directly on it. Some notes turn my entire apartment into a giant bass reflex cab. I set it on a bench, now the bench is loose and creaky. I don't crank it loud, I don't believe I've ever had it up past a quarter way. I want to try an Amp Stand:

Anyone use these? Will it lessen the problem? Thoughts?

I have all of these(plus a MudStand mini). All help depending on the situation.

I use one just like that and I like it. It gets the sound up close to your ears. It doesn't fold flat though. Should make a difference with the floor booming.

+1 I also use one just like that. I actually have two and also use one that belongs to the church at my regular weekly gig. They make a very big difference to floor resonance problems! And they're very sturdy and stable.

But they're kinda bulky and clunky to transport, so I don't take them everywhere I've been considering this small foldable adjustable tilt stand, just $21 at Sweetwater.

My Rumble 40's slightly bigger brother followed me home today...

Cool, Blitzer! Looks just a little taller, so-o-o is it the 100?

Ya know, that even though the 40 doesn't have an FX loop, you can run the 100's FX Send into the instrument input of the 40 to chain them together. But, like that, both EQ sections are in use. Enjoy!

I FINALLY get a chance to use my Rumble 500 head with BOTH 410 cabs this weekend!!

I’ve been keeping one cab at home and the other at our rehearsal space, but for our gig on Saturday night, we all decided to bring our “big rigs”!!

I’ll still be playing at a low volume, but it’ll be nice to actually use my whole rig for once. Plus, I have it set up for band practice tonight with my other band so it’s looking like a fun week!!

why not front with the 40 and use its line out to the FX return on the 100? Then only the 40's eq?
