Just got tracking number from Musicians Friend that my 210 cab shipped!!! I pre ordered the first day they released them.
Looking forward to matching it with my 115

The amp was exposed to very cold and humidity environment for long time before you take it inside your home.If you instantly fire it up,the drastic change of temperature create a thin layer of moisture upon electronic components and switches.Do you let the amp to catch home temp before start it up?This is the reason that the problem not exist anymore.

It's very possible that this is the cause. The amp did go through some quick temperature changes, it was sitting in my car for about 4 hours (which was heated from the sun and a touch humid, despite leaving the windows cracked) then when I got home I immediately fired it up. This morning I tested it again, and everything is still working properly.

I have until nearly the end of March before my 45 days are up, so plenty of time to test it and see if it comes up again.

Finally got to use my v3 40 at church. Played our service and then went to the other campus for a service. Didn't run direct at our church soundguy got there late didn't have time, but that will be fixed this week. I'm his boss . It sounded good we have service in a gym. Wasn't boomy had master and gain at 11. The other room was smaller and stage carpeted and that's where the 40 came alive. Sounded full and round. I play my Squier VM/Vibe parts bass with XL Chromes at church. I set my 40 just like my v3 500 combo, it sounds like a mini me. Amazing little amp and lovin' the weight of the 40. My settings for both bass 1 o'clock, low mid 9, high mid 11, treble 12. Vintage and Contor engaged. My pbass also has Chromes. I messed for moths and finally settled on these settings. The Chromes have a strong mid and I hate mids, I know old dog here and I know what i want my tone to be

If you play frequently, I would think if the problem crept up again, it would do so within that time frame...

I went ahead and placed an order for the 210 cabinet through musician's friend. They show that they have stock available and can ship right away. I think my GAS is nearly finished LOL. I just need some bits and pieces to spruce up one of my Jazz basses and I should be set for gear for a while.

Thanks Grayhook. I pretty much expect it, I've had customers send me pics of how my UPS/Fed Ex shipments arrive, and in some cases it is awful. Yes, hopefully I won't have this problem when the 210 arrives. And then I can really piss off the neighbors LOL (just kidding. I would never do that. )

The local Fender dealer, for some reason, never ordered any, and doesn't expect any until end of April. I would have run down and picked one up this evening if he had one.

Yep, Fender's site says April, so I ordered a 210 night before last from MF with the expectation it would be backordered til later this month. Got my shipping confirmation today. Very nice.

jumblemind and crucislancer, after reading your posts I couldn't resist picking up the phone, and I ordered a 210 cabinet from Musician's Friend. I'm super excited to put that under my 210 combo...that setup should really do everything I'll ever need. Hopefully you both got the President's Day discount, they gave it to me.

Wow, just looked online and the Canadian stores have already jacked their prices up to $660 CDN as our Dollar is in the toilet right now. A couple still have them listed for $540CDN but are backordered, wonder if they would honour the price of you added the back order to the cart and completed the purchase?

What version Rumble 100 is yours Ownes W?

The Rumble V3 is as similiar to the V1 or original Rumble as it is to my old Crate BX-100. They have made HUGE changes to the amps over the years...

The very easiest way to connect your Hartke and Rumble is to go from the effects send of your Hartke and run it into the effects return of your Rumble. This bypasses the Rumble's front end and inputs the tone from your Hartke's pre-amp directly into your Rumble's power section. Yes the Rumble will have to be turned on. Alternatively, you can go from the effects of your Hartke into your Rumble's instrument input, and go from there.

To have your Hartke power your Rumble's 15" woofer will require some permanent modifications to disconnect the the woofer from the Rumble 100 amps section, and drill and mount a jack and wire it to the woof. The choice is yours.

Thank you! I took the fender apart last night with the intention of having to solder and what not. But my buddy (who was actually doing the work) was unable to hard wire it. I figured that was the best solution but was more difficult. I will try your suggestions though. Thanx again!
