One question, though: I am connecting the Rumble 500 to the Peavey TNT 115. I go from Effects Out on the Rumble to the instrument input jack on the Peavey, then the Low output of the Peavey to its own Pre Amp In, using a small patch cable. Hope you can see it on the blurry pic.
Is this correct? I believe the 115 should be managing the low frequencies only, as I much more prefer the overall tone of the Rumble. Any opinions on that?
Not "correct" exactly. To manage different frequencies between the amps requires a crossover that actually splits the signal at a specific frequency. Now, you can fake that by going into both amps and dialing one for more lows and one for more highs, and if that setup is working for the sound you want, that's all that really matters.
