Fender Rumble Club

I am sorry to write this but I will no longer be in the Rumble club when it comes to my amp.

Changing my sound with a Tech 21 VT500 replacing my v3 500 head.

Just for the record, the v3 500 head has been pushed, abused and used for hundreds of

loud rehearsal hours and gigs. The amp is 100% reliable and solid; just looking for a bit of a change.

Apparently the v3 extension cabs are ported? Someone said the hole is under the grill cloth. They are listed as sealed on the fender website aren’t they?

If so are the combos ported too? My v3 definitely doesn’t sound ported AT ALL! Doesn’t have the deep low end rumble, more of boomy low mids kind of bass.
But I could be wrong. Maybe I’ll double check under the grill

My 410 v3 is ported.

Good morning, I own a Rumble 500 bass combo bought on april 2018. For a month now, the fan doesn't work properly, it is always on at high speed, from the moment when I turn on the amplifier (cold), until I switch it off. What can I do?
Thanks in advance for your answers

You could have it checked at an Authorized Fender Service Center, it's still within the 2 year warranty. Most here didn't even realize they had fans as we never heard it! Also, show us a pic and join The Club.

Good luck. Please advise your progress.

All Rumble combos and extension cabs are ported, and listed as such on the Fender website. The only exceptions are the Rumble 15 combo, which is sealed, and the LT25 combo, which is not listed as either ported or sealed, but if you look closely at the product photos, you can see the ports beneath the grille cloth. Which, incidentally, is where you’ll find the ports on all the others as well.

The U.S. Fender website lists the LT25 as ported.

View attachment 3574250 My 500 combo and one of my P basses. Had them both for a few years. For me it doesn't get any better than this.

Very loverly, David! Glad you finally found us. @Davie123, you are now member #1129 in the Fender Rumble Club! Tell us more of your Rumbling adventures. And, as always, . . . .

Oops - don’t know how I missed that. :)

Well, it is a tedious task, if you looked up every Rumble on the Fender website for that one feature! Ah, the lengths we go to for The Club, eh? Thanks for all you do here Jacobi. You are a gentleman and a scholar.

By the way, I did not realize that the Rumble 15 is sealed. Huh! Ya learn sumpin' new ever day.
