I'm almost pulling the trigger on a R500c for the time being and then a 2x10 shortly thererafter. If I gig for a while and then am unable to for what ever reason, then I've still got a combo to use. If I get more heavily into it, then I'll be looking at more. :smug: - Then possibly the 800HD. In the meantime, the 500c will get me started at a reasonable price and if I need a pre-EQ DI I can use one of my DI pedals (Ampeg SCR-DI, Samsamp BD of Radial JDI).

I was looking through one of my local bar's Facebook photos of their weekend evenings. A numbe rof the photos have the bands playing on them. This is one of the most popular bars in my city. Not the biggest though. I seen three bands (very popular bands) in the last 2 months using Rumbles. They appeared to be the 500c or 200c without ext cabs. I'm unable to tell if they were DI out to PA. They were certainly not miced. It was nice to see that.

I feel a bit time compressed just now to be honest. The schools are closing here on Friday and I feel we are gonna be made to self-isolate soon. I would hate to be thwarted by the delivery folks going off (which I can totally understand and think wise) and some music retailer holding on to my money for months. Can you imagine self-isolating without a Rumble and having the consequent GAS? It's almost akin to the same feeling of being dumped. No self-control here at all. :D

BOC were a great live act. Their shows at Tornado Watch in the '70s (in the gravel pit outside of Eau Claire, WI; used to build parts of I-90 and I-94) were fabulous. I was also fortunate to have attended the show at Navy Pier in Chicago (across the street from my condo) that was recorded and released on Blu-ray. A couple of gray hairs, but plenty of good ol' R'n'R!

EDIT: If you happen to be ex-military like myself, and you think R'n'R means Rest 'n' Relaxation, you've never been to a BOC show.

Love BOC. Saw them many times, sometimes with Aerosmith as Columbia was promoting them. Still Love BOC. GREAT BAND.

Yes, of course. The firmware and app were both released just yesterday, and correspond to the approximate availability date of the new Mustang GTX amps announced this January. Been looking forward to them since then!
