I've had my Rumble 15 for about two months now and love it! I mostly practice wearing headphones but when the wife and daughter aren't around I let her loose :bassist:

So glad I made this purchase!!

Thanx....Hooked the amp up with my Unicorn XS2104 cab made by the Swedish bass maker Christian Olsson. It has 2x10 and 4x4 Faital speakers and sounds a bit like a studio monitor. I use a Glock Blue Soul, Tonehammer, Streamliner and my Alleva LG5 with this cab so I know what to expect. With all things set flat this is amp fairly punchy and clear. Favoring the bridge pup I had to back off the high mid and the treble and boost the lows and mid lows a bit. The amp has fairly transparent high highs almost like Glock or Streamliner. Engaging the contuor knob resulting in a typically scooped sound. A little to much to cut through the mix for my taste but turning the high mid knob to about one o clock helped out. The bright switch I don´t care for with this bass. The Vintage knob cut the high highs and push the low mids mimicing a sealed cab. I have to noodling around a little more with this. Overall its a potent amp with great EQ possibillites. I didn´t played much with the Overdrive but I if you like Jack Bruce and Felix Papalardi type of sound it´s fairly easy to get there. This amp is going out next week on a funk-soul-blues gig with this cab and bass. Have to try it out with my Aggie 1x12 DB and SL cab on a rock gig within 14 days.

Sitting there behind those two basses, it's an old fender rumble. With it's exceptional loud 75 output, she's now sitting and keep silent, waiting for those two basses to plugged in to her and help them to sing their low-down anthem. Such a wonderful creature.

Now, read them with british accent.

...Can i get my number? :)

Thanks :) The jazz bass is my first bass, and the rumble is my first amp! I'm still at highschool, and both of them made a very deadly combinations. I love the versaility of rumbles and 12 inch speaker in it does right, as 15" is sacrificing treble, and 10" is too small. I love the scoop but rarely use the punch feature. Too bad they can't be footswitched. I admire the overdrive too! As a beginner in bass and beyond, this is just a perfect definition of practice amps to me :-)

And been tryin the new silver-faced rumble! It sounds great, bit more thumpier ( i forget which watt version) , but i kinda miss the kickback feature on older rumble. But doesn't matter it will look outstanding in the stage!

After 7 weeks of waiting, I finally picked up the Rumble 410 V3!
Story is I went to a local music store and placed the order for the V2, (the 4ohm and metal grill), paid for the cab and was told it would ship tomorrow. After being told I would have it in a week, that same weekend I traded my Ashdown combo for a nice Ibanez AEB10E. Well.....
After calling or visiting them every week and getting the same thing, "I just talked to Fender and it's shipping tomorrow" until last Wednesday when I was told that the V2 had stopped production and there were none to be had and I would have to wait until the end of March before the new V3 ships. Now I have been without an amp for 6 weeks and going nuts so I asked if he could get in touch with the local Fender rep and see what he could do and help get the cabinet that I paid for 6 weeks ago. The Fender rep pulled some strings and I picked it up today.
Long story short, I paid a reduced price for a V2, and got the V3 with the music store not asking for the difference. I have to say that they stepped up and did the right thing.
I'll get it plugged in tonight and review tomorrow.

I got the V3 Rumble hooked up to my Behringer 4500 head last night and all I can say is WOW!!!!
This cab has tone for days. With the EQ flat on both the head and my bass, this thing has one of the best tones I have heard. After tweaking the eq to my desired preferences, I have to say that I am kinda glad that the V2 didn't come! With the gain and output set between 2 and 3, it was all I could get out of it without really ticking off my neighbors so I can't wait to get it to a venue to test it in a live scenerio.
The main difference, I think, is that the V3 has a different ported design and the ceramic magnets on the new Eminence speakers. The new V3 is ported with 2 - 2" ports above and below the horn where the V2 was ported all the way across the bottom. One other thing to note is that there IS a speakon connection as well as a 1/4" jack!
The vintage look of the new design is always classic too. My only complaint is that there is still glue residue around the inside of the removable frame that velcros to the cab.
So to say I am pleased with the outcome is an understatement!
Thanks again Fender and my local music store for stepping up and doing the right thing. This proves that Fender is ready and willing to be a customer oriented company that will get the product to a consumer.

Thanks. I did a small write up about it with a few build pics in the "Show Your Bass" thread. It's about 5-6 years old now and tone keeps getting better and better. Don't think I could/would ever part with it. It was a long (5 year) thought process between myself and Randy to make sure I got exactly what I wanted.

Very nice!

Could you tell us something about sound and quality?

Thx a lot.

I have to say, I am not sure if I like the 500 Head. I find it very difficult to dial in a sound that is not boomy and yet has some warmth. However, I have only played four times with the head and every time with a different cab. It sounded decent with Peavey 1x15. With Ampeg 4x10 I really struggled to find a good sound, no luck. With Fender's own 115 I had similar problems. The sound was boomy with no definition or overly bright and hollow without warmth and deep end bass. I think I have to tweak some more but I feel a bit dissapointed at the moment. It surely is not a "wow, what a great sound" experience. I suggest you try it before you buy it.

EDIT: The basses I have used are Fender Precision Special with P/J mics and a Fender Mustang shortscale.

Hi guys Im planning to get a 2013 410 RUmble Cab.. and as I know this is 4ohms cab... that became a problem in case that i need to add a second cab...

Well I had the new Rumble 500 head for three weeks now and I have no problem to get good/great sound from it. I also have a Glock Blue Soul head, One Aggie TH 350 + a TH 500 and a GB Streamliner 600. The Rumble is least as loud and good sounding as any of these heads and the most versatile with the bright, contour, vintage and overdrive knobs. All these heads are great sounding in their own way but different to very different. I had the Rumble head with me on a funk/blues/soul gig last week and both the keyboard player and drummer from my rock cover band was there and they said my sound was great. I had my Alleva LG 5-string and my Unicorn XS2104 cab with me. It´s very easy to simulate that MM slap sound with this head. I will try the Rumble head with my cover rock band rehearsal this evening to figure out if it can stand up to my Aggie TH 500 sound wise. If...the Rumble is going with me on my friday evening rock gig.
