Fender Rumble Club

Thought I would put the pic of my new Rumble 100 on here...

I'm not seeing a pic.

Does the moderator of this thread know my number? It's been years since I checked. It's in the 200s

I don't know that TB has assigned a particular moderator to this thread. And even if they did, he probably wouldn't keep up with the membership numbers, since TB doesn't officially suport clubs.

However, you can check the Membership Lists section of the Rumble Club Wiki page for several such lists and find your number there.

'Course, there are also ways to search up the actual historical posting of such info, if you knkw how.

Hope this helps, 191.

One of the reasons I wasn't interested at first was because they felt like toys. But that was deceiving...
My first Rumble was a 100, and I actually looked for lightweight first, as I was disenchanted with my too-heavy Ampeg. Turned out to be a great decision, and the start of a long rumblin’ journey. :)

Does anyone know of an amp stand that will work with the 500c?
Depends on what you want it to do. I have all of these. The one in front is from AmpWedge.

And also this-MudStand Mini. All of these will hold my 200C which is just about the same size and weight as the 500C.Disassembled:

The R500c is so small & light that almost any amp stand will work. Google "amp stands" and shop around for what looks good to you. Chances are someone here has tried the one you choose and can confirm or warn about it.

I have a couple of heavy, sturdy, adjustable, but inexpensive ones that have served my R500c very well. They are like the middle left, but about half the price shown.

I want one that lifts and tilts like the RS7000 on stage stand. I'm not sure if you can adjust the height.

I recently came across some old Musician magazines from the 90’s. It was an interesting look at what was happening 20-25 years ago. They had a small review of a Bag End speaker cabinet that they called “portable” at 102 lbs. yikes!
It's crazy how technology has moved bass amps along. Way lighter, smaller, and just as loud. Amazing!

Yes, the On Stage RS7000 Amp Stand is height adjustable, but not tilt adjustable. I have one and it's worked great. A little heavier and bulkier than some others, since it doesn't fold up much, but some.

I also have the Musician's Gear Deluxe Amp Stand, which is functionally the same as the RS7000 but less than half the price. Same weight and capacity and foldability.

You guys think it’s worth replacing the Fender badge on my 500?

"Value is in the mind of the consumer", drooly. Replaciing the flat plastic badge with the raised metal (blackface) badge is one of the easiest and most common mods in the Rumble Modifications section of the Rumble Club Wiki page. In fact, Fender started selling some Rumble 115 cabs (& maybe others?) with the raised metal badges, perhaps 'cause lots of owners of Bassman heads (w/metal badges) were buying them!

Personally, I think the stock two-screw Fender badge is gonna be a collector's item. The flat plastic badge readily available for purchase these days uses 4 screws! So, I'm resisting the blackface badge trend and keeping my R500c all stock.

I love my Rumble! I've been gigging with it for almost a year now. I just made a video about some settings that get pretty close to some more well-known sounds.

Attention: Rumble Club Wiki Edit Alert!

Thanks, @droo46. A link to your post relating your video of Four Great Tones From Your Fender Rumble has been added to the Rumble Club Wiki page in the middle of the TONE POOL section. This is a very helpful demonstration that needs to be captured for posterity! Perhaps someone will also add those settings to the TONE POOL list for future reference.

Thank you, droo, for sharing this very valuable information.

Rumble On!

Gonna put this here, combo club, my Build thread and maybe Tape wound club...
Finished my bass. Still adjusting neck and string height, but I love the feel and sound, and no buzz like my Jazz Bass
Warmoth JB fretless neck, Gotoh tuners and bridge, Bartolini split coils, Golden Age controls and plates. D’Add strings

Well I sold my Avatar B410 and Rumble 100 to Guitar Center today. I also returned my Little Mark III head for a refund. I ended up getting the Rumble 500 combo. I forgot I had a credit on my account for $45. So after the 10% discount for selling my gear. I ended up getting the 500 for just under $500 and got a little cash out of the deal. I can't wait for it to come in! Now I'll have a nice loud lightweight combo and some money left over to get my wife an Anniversary gift!
I would like to see a 500 combo with 4 ohm speakers that would give you the full 500 watts without a second cab. Can it be done? I don't know. It seems if you buy the 500 watt combo it's really a 350 watt amp (which absolutely kicks ass BTW) but still, a 500 watt combo should be a 500 watt combo. Otherwise, advertise it as a 350 watt amp.
Just putting that out there for discussion. As usual, I'm an idiot. You get used to it though. I know I have. :roflmao:
