First time posting on the website in general, tell me if I do something wrong!

I painted The grill of my Rumble 25 with Krylon Colormaxx (satin black) spray paint like Bass Man Dan did in this thread. It looks great in my opinion! It does look better in person. None of the holes in the threads have been filled and it took no time since it dried really fast. I did a couple of light coatings!
I am definitely going to do it on the 200.

Yo, Cow man! That's a good shot, podnuh. @Cowboy0071, you are now member #1298 in the Fender Rumble Club. Congratulations and welcome. Put that number in your TB Signature for safe keeping. Checkout the Rumble Club Wiki page for all kindsa Rumbling info. But please go to the LT25, Studio 40 & Stage 800 Sub-Thread of The Club for questions and discussions relating specifically to these great bass modeling amps, so as to give our non-modeling Rumble brothers and sisters a break. :D

How's about telling us your story, podnuh? We'd like to get to know ya. You know a bit about us, we're young/old and male/female playing [all kindsa] music after few/many years of experience. But, of course, we all love to ... ...

A few years ago, Linin mentioned that the 100 and 200 have identical preamps. I am getting ready to record bass onto my Tascam DP-32SD. Is there any difference whatsoever between the XLR output on the two of them?

The picture is just because we like to see Rumbles. 15, 100, 200, and 115 cabinet.

You're right, T, we do like to see Rumbles! Especially multiple Rumbles!! And you got all sizes, from the smallest to the largest. So cool. :woot:

You're also right about the preamps being the same, but not just the 100 & 200, but also for the 40 & 500 as well. That's why they share a single manual and the same block diagram. They only differ in their power amps and speakers. So, no, there should be no difference between the XLR Output on all four of them.

Whatever happened to Linin??

I do miss his informative and historical contributions to the this club, however I do NOT miss his tyrannical and hateful treatment of others who did not share his opinions and views. I do not miss his "greater than thou" attitude and his disdain for all things "not Fender"...all of which led him to be suspended many times from TB. I suspect he is purposely avoiding participation in this club for his own good, OR this is his passive-aggressive attempt at retribution. Either way, I find this club to be a much more pleasant experience now and I, and many others, can freely discuss Rumbles, Fender, or any other topic/brand/aspect of music that relates to bass playing without him dropping a deuce in my Cheerios just because he is full of it.

Thank you! That's what I was thinking, but needed to be sure. They would record direct the same.

I just picked up a Rumble 100 today.... I do have an old Rumble 15 but the 100 is made for my hollow Hofner basses.... It's not to bad on my Hofner Shorty travel bass mostly I play at home and my other main amp was an Acoustic 25 .... But with only a few hours of play time I can see the R100 is the perfect amp for me
