Fender Rumble Club

Over the 3 long lockdowns in UK, I did take the opportunity to trial a load of pedals. Some I had little intention of buying but wanted to hear for myself. Some I had wanted but was disappointed and returned. Some I kept.

I became obsessed with seeking different tone qualities from my 1 bass, and after too many demos and trials, came back to appreciating the superb natural Rumble tones, undiluted.

I actually found the opposite, in that I ended up with owning 8 pedals of 6 different brands.

After selling some pedals and changing many things around I've got 2 Boss pedals and 2 now on the way. So 4 of 9 pedals. Just feels weird that I keep doing that. Not so much that I keep making sure my board is full though. I hate how much blank spaces on it bother me.:roflmao:

Same here - working from chord charts for popular music. But if it won't go forward or stop/start when needed, I have to have quick fingers.

I freely confess that I really like to have an iPad running Songbook software mounted in front of me so I don't have to remember every change.

Neat. I always like seeing the different directions people go in. I have a feeling a lot of people used the lockdown as an opportunity to try out new guitar and bass pedals. I've been on this train for years really. Although I will say I've only ever bought 1 envelope filter. It's still on my board and the most compelling reason for keeping it. I'm only on my 2nd compressor as well and I've been using it for years at this point. So some things do manage to stay long haul it seems!

Attention: Rumble Club Wiki Edit Alert!

I was just browsing TB and came across a mention of the Fender EXP-1 Expression Pedal, for use with the Rumble Stage or Studio amps. So, I went to our handy-dandy Rumble Club Wiki page for a reference, but LO! (yes, and Behold!) there was none! So, I added a link to the Fender product description of their EXP-1 Expression Pedal to the Stage & Studio Links section, near the footswitch links. But, it really needs more than that, especially since the Quick Start Guide and the Advanced Users Guide don't even mention our Rumbles or the Mustang GTXs. So, more links may be on the way there.

Hi all,

I actually started out on a Rumble 40 but swapped it out for a Studio 40 a few months ago.
Today I am getting a warranty replacement for the Studio, as there are a few very odd things wrong with it.
It SOMETIMES connects to the app, but only when it feels like, no rhyme or reason to it.
Also have a lot of static/distorted sounds on some of the sims via the speaker, but not via the XLR out to my DI or the headphones out.
Spent a lot of time with Fender on the phone a while back and they concluded it was a dud.
Took a while to get the replacement but hoping it cleans up the issues so i can enjoy all the parts of this amp.

Odd though as they said they rarely have any issues with these (not sure I believe that). Anyone else have any issues?

Haven't had any issues with mine but, I am just now getting to use it more. I will follow this closely, either here or on the Stage, Studio, LTE thread, where ever it ends up ;). One thing I have found is WiFi connection is better than Blue Tooth.

The 2-year warranty on my Rumble Studio just recently expired with not a single problem the whole time. And I haven't (yet) tried an EXP-1 Expression Pedal. But, maybe someday ... ...

Please tell us a bit about yourself, John, such as your bass experience in general and your Rumble journey in particular. You'll fit right in here 'cause we have all kinds. But we all love to. .... ...

I've had mine some months now, and have pressed it pretty hard. I haven't had any issues with it at all.

4.5 days of no one around to complain. What's the first thing I do? Order chicken wings of course!:drool: And then? Broke out the Dimension and the Rumble and ran it at band levels just for fun. Took a while to dial in my sound as I've not yet gotten to run that bass at that volume, or any bass at that volume for over a year. Was super fun though. I missed making my amp live up to its name!:bassist:

I checked the volume dial after, as I nudged it up 4 times without looking at it, so I figured I must have gotten it to at least 9 o'clock. Nope. 8 o'clock basically on the dot. The Dimension very much has a higher output than my P bass or Jackson!:roflmao:

Just got back a bit ago from the gig. As expected the 67 NR Thunderbird>R200c was quite sufficient(hadda turn down at the beginning).Not my regular band, I played a lotta tunes I've heard b4 but never played 'til tonite. Blessed with a good 'ear'. Crowd seemed to like us as did the 'skeeters'(outside venue).
