I know. Still effectively disposable. It isn’t really the product that’s disposable. It would be easy enough for Fender to take it back and swap the electronics. The question is one of cost. As long as it’s cheaper to throw something away and replace it than repair it, this wasteful and environmentally harmful practice will continue.
No kidding. It's why I still keep an old-school A/B head around as a backup. If my out of warranty Rumble 500H fails I suspect nobody will want to or be able to repair it. At least I'll still have one serviceable amp head.I know. Still effectively disposable.
Don’t forget the second half of G-Dog’s post. If you don’t tell us about yourself and your journey, that number will dance on your bladder while you sleep!Thank you
"Justin normally plays Ernie Ball Hybrid Slinky strings (.045, .065, .085, .110)"I'm trying to get as close as possible with just my Fender Rumble 40 to Justin Chancellor's (TOOL) tone. Maybe someone with more knowledge could aid me in this unlikely endeavour. Thanks!
Woah. Look at this, y'all. 260 bucks? What do ya think?

And @ $260, they're pretty dang proud of it.G-Dog's right, it's not an amp.![]()
Right, for a coupla 8s.And @ $260, they're pretty dang proud of it.
And you can buy a new ELF 2x8 and not worry about its history for ~$150 more.Right, for a coupla 8s.
I dislike that the 350 doesn't have a speakon or 1/4 output for an external cab. I can install one tho.
They're fairly reasonable on inter-store transfers. Orange Park is a suburb of Jacksonville, so North FL. Prolly be a lot more from down here.Well, I found another in Flo Rida. Shipping to my local store is 27 bucks. I don't think they know what it weighs.[Invalid or Expired Link Removed]

GC charges $27 pretty much regardless of where they're shipping to. That's what I paid to get my Stage 800 from Rochester NY to Colorado Springs.
The youngster I spoke with said it was because it is a used amp. I don't know if that is correct or not.I'm not sure I understand that policy. I have never had to pay for shipping for anything I have bo't from GC. Guitars, amps, stands, cables--nothing. Is that a regional thing?
Tim
Hmm. Wonder how one of those 2x8's would pair up with the 200c.
