Fender Rumble Club

The Studio 40 left Winnipeg Friday but no updates since. Expected delivery is Wednesday but I'm still hopeful I'll wake up to see it out for delivery tomorrow morning. Purolator doesn't do a lot of tracking updates. 10 years ago they'd deliver your package before your tracking number.
That way you could see where it'd been(?).

The 'new' Ampeg/Yamaha Rocket Bass series combos are a remarkable effort to capture some of the Rumble market. Lotta power/light weight and affordable, esp. these days as there are few steady engagements any more. Having to move everything in, play the gig, and drag everything out, makes combo amps very desirable. According to the demos I've seen, I'll be sticking with the Rumbles for the sound I wanna put out. For those that like/want the 'peg sound, you have reasonably priced alternatives now. Have at it.
The one demo I heard may have been the worst demo/review of an amp I have ever heard. I am sure in sounds better than that demo, not RUMBLE good, but better than the reviewer did it justice. If I was Ampeg, I would make the reviewer take it down.

Isolation Pads vs. HPF's...these two options are similar in price and some say HPF's make amps and speakers more efficient. In addition, an HPF is considerably smaller.

I would love to hear comments from those who have tried both. I do know that an HPF and, possibly an amp stand would be my choice. The amp stand not for isolation but to raise combos and cabs for stage use.
