Fender Rumble Club

I view @agedhorse's response as a "comment" rather than an "endorsement", IMHO.
Yes, more of a comment. IMO the Rumble 112 V3 is a better performer than the vintage cabinet that has 2 drivers stuffed into .75 cubic feet of volume. To follow this up with a practical example of why, I suggested removing from that cabinet, open the divider to make a common air space, block off one speaker hole, and install a Legend BP-122. That single driver alone in a sealed box would perform better than what he already has, and I think that a Rumble 112 V3 would also perform better. Why, because is a better executed option that the OP's cabinet, yet retains the vintage Fender look.

Thanks, Souly, for reeling me in. I DO really appreciate it.

I apologize, Andy, for extrapolating your suggestion for this particular application (sealed bix with vintage Fender look) into an endorsement. That wasn’t really my intent, and I've edited my post to call it a suggestion, if that's OK?

No worries, i understood what you intended.

Guys that “Rumble 112 V3” is discontinued. So how is that an option? Just curious. I wish Fender did have extension cab for the Rumbles. All the sites I’ve checked say it’s out of stock, discontinued, or reserve now. If it’s new how does anyone know how it is?

Here's one: Fender Rumble 112 V3 1x12 Bass Cabinet | Lark Guitars | Reverb

The challenge right now (for all manufacturers) is the supply chain. If Fender can't get the parts, they can't build the cabinets. It's the unfortunate situation this entire industry is currently living and struggling with.

Yeah, Michael, the used market is always there, though availability of popular items, like Rumbles, is often a problem. And the Rumble 112 seems to have become much more popular since being continued. But the other Rumble V3 cabs are out there.

Just be sure to fully test your desired used bass cabinet all you can at your earliest opportunity, preferably before purchase! People modify (or damage) them and "forget" to tell you, or "it was like that when I got it". When in doubt, take pictures of the speaker backs to post here and ask questions.

Hope this helps.

You also might check with Fender Consumer Service department to see if this is really discontinued or just struggling with long lead times on delivery. It seemed to me to be a fairly popular cabinet.

It's been a couple years, Andy, since the major online retailers started marking the Rumble 112 cab as "No Longer Available" then even Fender removed it from their website. Then the same happened to the popular Rumble 200 head, followed by the 500 head. Invalid Link Removed. :(

So if I were King.

I would decree that 12” and 15” bass combos be built (why A Fender Rumble of course :>) that had a 300 watt amp at 8 ohms and 500 watts at 4 ohms. And cost under $500.

And that a set of Rumble speaker cabs of the 12” & 15” variety with capacities of 300 watts be built. And cost under $400.

I would command that all 15” combos and cabs be under 35 lbs and all 12” combos and cabs be under 30lbs.

It would be a simple kingdom with free basses of your choice for everyone.

Is it too much to ask?

Long live the King!!! Sir Rumble12cab at your service.

Just got my MDB Rumble covers! That's one for the Rumble 500 and one each for the 210 and 115 cabs.

Sounds nice on the surface, at least for bass players, but I shudder to think what graft and corruption must offset Your Majesty's commands in this kingdom's economy! :rollno:
