Fender Rumble Club

And to close the loop on the technical side of my question, I just checked the specs for my audio interface (PreSonus Audiobox96), and right there in ol' black and white it says that the instrument input requires a 1/4" TS plug. Hence, that is what I shall get.
CAREFUL! The instrument input (unbalanced) is for low-level instruments, like your bass. Your Rumble outputs a LINE level signal. Your AudioBox 96 DOES NOT SUPPORT line level inputs! You'll need a Studio 26c for that. I have the 1810c. Love it!

Just a note to you @John Stephen, I have my Studio 40 connected to a Focusrite Scarlett running into Reaper and just love it. Many Happy Recordings to you...;).

Thanks, I am looking forward to Rumblin' recordings!
If you buy a 26c, you'll get Studio One Artist ($99) for FREE. I run the PRO version, but v5 Artist was upgraded to support 3rd party VSTs so you don't need to pay a bunch extra for that support, like v4 required. I used both Reaper and Studio One for a long time. I've settled on Studio One 100% of the time. Been on it since v2.

I wish I didn't buy this stupid Studio 40.

I paid $50 to have it shipped across town and have to go fetch it myself, it should have been here on Monday not Friday, and the worthless Fender Tone App literally won't let me connect the amp to the internet, so there's no app connectivity because it's the final part of the setup.

I'm going to poke at it a bit more, but I imagine I'm going to be arguing to get all my money back tomorrow. What a waste.

Welcome to the Rumble Club, nat. Show us a photo of one, or both, of your Rumbles and get a membership number.

Here is my Fender Rumble 115 Cab on top of an old Hartke combo amp that I took apart, removed the head and can us now as a double 15.

I am awaiting a Rumble 500 Combo that I will pair with the 115. Is this a good combo? The 500c and 115 cab?

Also, I am new to the Fender Rumble Club. Do I need a membership number?

Well, of course, tony! Everyone with a Rumbke needs aClub membership number. @aanthonya, you are now member #1384 in the Fender Rumble Club. Congratulations and welcome. Put that number in your TB Signature for safe keeping. And make yourself at home here and on your Rumble Club Wiki page, the repository of all Rumbling wisdom and knowledge.

Please let us know a bit about your bass experience in general and your Rumble journey in particular. No matter your situation you'll fit right in here since we have all kinds. But we all love to ... ...

Rumble On!

Question about Rumble 500 Combo amd 115 Cab
I was able to pick up a used Fender Rumble 115 cab for $200 (like new, great deal) and I am backordered on the Rumble 500 Combo. I ordered before the price went up to $650, had a customer service issue so will get it new for $550 w/tax.

I currently have two 15's, the Rumble 115 and a 30 year old Hartke Combo that I made a 15 + 5 cab by removing the head, cutting off the shelf and re-carpeting. That cab alone sounds awesome, but it's HEAVY. So is the Hartke Head which is now easier to carry seperate from the cab.

My question is about combining the Rumble 500 Combo with the 115 cab. Is this a good combo in your opinion?

You must be sure that the 30-year-old Hartke cab is 8 ohms, or more, and rated for at least 250 watts continuous (or RMS, not peak, or program). Do you have those specs? What is the model, or name, shown on the head?
