Sounds like my kind of crowd

Yeah, we like those hours. Home in time for the 11 o'clock news-which I don't watch.Sounds like my kind of crowd!

Oh, I'm up 'til ~2. I just don't watch the news. All my working life has been night work-music or trucking.Me neither...I'm usually in bed by then and ready to beat the rooster in the am!
It's good to incorporate round things into the set. That way I don't stand out as much! You're taking a painting of a sheep to a gig? And plants? Cool. I love eclectica bands.

Gotta lose that leading at sign.Well, I sure didn't mean it to be.
Weird. It always worked b4. Oh, well.Gotta lose that leading at sign.

... ... Fender Rumble 100 with Eminence Delta Lite. Modification for using the cabinet with another head - and added a kick stand to tilt the cabinet. I have not marked them yet, but the center connection is for the speaker and the one to the side is to the amp. Add jumper and in business. ... ...

Wow! Len, that looks terrific. Was that kick stand listed as a kick stand? Or maybe a retracting handle? Either way, it looks "da bomb"!!!

Life S__ks Then You Die.Nice. I remember years ago when I owned one of those Artcore basses (I forget what the model number was), I also thought it was pretty anemic, pickups-wise. Anyway, glad to hear the gig went well. I'm trying to see if I can figure out LSTYD. I'll get it....

Glad the weather cooperated for you. We're s'posed to be outside under a portable tent tonight(the crowd will be under permanent shelter-outdoor bar/grill). We'll be watching the "future radar". Prolly gonna wind up inside. The band rumbled over to the west coast last night at Englewoods on the Dearborn (Englewood, FL) and it was raining during our setup in the back courtyard where we play. Had to tighten up the stage setup to stay dry and I had to wait a bit to set my stuff up. Decided to forgo my preamp pedal, compressor and direct box and plug straight into my R100 and use the line out from the Rumble. Rain stopped for the show and it sounded great, but it rained about 30 minutes while we were breaking down. Had a good crowd and people were dancing and the owner was happy.
Tonight I will just add the compressor back in and see how it sounds. Looking forward to a new place just south of town in the country we had never played. It's called Sugar Sand Distillery and they make rum, gin, vodka and moonshine. Playing 7-10 and have no idea if we are inside or out or what it will be like, but we have a good local following so it should be a good night.
Tomorrow in Winter Haven, then next week four shows in three days.
Here is a pic from last night. Note my gig bag, no other place to keep it dry.

Yes, the drummer owns the PA. I have a BBE, I got free from my previous band, I use at home sometimes with a small stereo music setup. Is that a BBE in your PA rack?
