I use mine for almost all our gigs these days(OK, nights). My 200c rarely goes out any more.
Our drummer is jazz trained and, if anything, plays too softly.

I've had my Rumble 500 combo for a few years and when I got it I was in a band with a heavy handed drummer who didn't understand dynamics and needed my on stage volume louder than I would've liked.
For the last 5 years our group is guitar/bass/cajon and it was more than I needed when I plug I into the PA.
Just snagged a brand new Rumble 100 for $299 from a local mom and pop. Couldn't pass up the amp at that price. The price new on Sweetwater and MF was $379. Plenty of sound and less space in the vehicle so it's a win/win day, no buyers remorse here.

Same. I bought my 500c for gigs and the 100c for rehearsals and home practice, but soon found the 100c can cover just about all of it. Easily the most used amp in my Rumble arsenal.
I’m in kind of the same situation, but up a notch. I got a 500c plus 210 cab, but I hardly ever use the extra cab. Could probably got by with a 200 instead of the 500, but then I would probably have to schlep the extra cab to gigs.
Although I have the 100 and I do find that it records much better in my home studio with an SM57, my 200 gets all the gigs. I like the extra layer of smooth coolness the 15 seems to lay out on the dance floor like a thick funky fog that you almost have to wade through.
I still love the sound of the 200c, but for most of our rooms it's overkill and I hafta "sit on it" volume wise. Outdoors, or one particular room-that I rarely play-it's the one.
Gig last night(Saturday). It's at a place where space and pay mean we do it as a trio. Friday night, one of our guitarists played bass. He has a J and Markbass(112?)rig. I went in to listen and later-2nd and 3rd sets-sat in on tenor sax. His sound was weak and 'bottomless'-IMO. He's a "jazz guy" and if that's the sound he wants, more power to him. But it doesn't really fit our music-60s/70s rock and country. Oh, well, tweetchie zone.

I dig the 200c, I've used it for the past 3 years, works well for every gig we've done, great amp!
Id like to try the Ampeg 100c they're offering now, compare it to the RUMBLE 100c, for rehearsals mostly,

A little clarification: I've mentioned it b4, but my onstage gear consists of bass and amp(obviously), but also mic stand, music stand, duffel-with cables, guitar stand, mics, lyrics book, and other [stuff], and, for some gigs, PA. Anywhere from 2 to 4 trips load in/out. If the 100 does the job-and saves 14# of weight carried, I'm all for it. And, as previously stated, the 200c was my first Rumble and I'm very pleased with it. But! If I'd known the daisy chaining trick-which I was unaware of before I bought the 200c-I'd have gotten 2 R100's and alternated them, chained them, and/or had one as a backup.

Just spent the better part of the last few weeks literaly reading this whole string of Rumble posts! Long time guitar player! When I was younger I had my share of groups... nothing big but we had our times doing local gigs, weddings, or whatever oportunities popped up. Just retired before all hell broke loose in the world (Thank God!) and now just a home player to relax and kick back. 6 months ago decided I'd try playing Bass cause when you're retired, you can do what you like....when you like!
Picked up a PBass and been waiting to find a good deal on a bass amp (hey... fixed income and I have the patience to wait for a deal!)
I decided a Rumble40 would be the perfect amp, but all that seemed to pop up in the used market was 15's & 25's. until this week! Got a Rumble100 for $150 and it was like new! BINGO!
I love this amp and looking forward to getting more familiar with it! So now I can finally and officially request membership to this fine group of fellow players! I even added the pic to make it official....

Thought I would get by with the 100 and it was fine on gigs, but I decided to move on to the 500 and I will play it until it or me breaks down .
Great score! A lot of us have the Rumble 100 because it is such a great amp. It will play a small to medium sized club easily as a lot of people have mentioned.
I found it amazing that the used market is full of Rumble25's for $125 (almost new price?) and the 40's, if I found one, was more like $250! So when this one popped up, I jumped on it! Only thing it had was a broken logo on the grille so I had a classic metal one to replace it!

I should add that I decided to snag the Rumble 100 because our guitarist has one and I've used it for practice for a few years now at his house. And I've used it for gigs from time to time, now I'll have my own and not have to ask him to schlep his along.
I just ordered a cover last night. My OCD means it won't leave my house until I have a cover for it. I think for outside summer things the 500 will still see gigs but for some of the smaller places we play this 100 will be perfect.

Try daisy chaining yers and his'n. I've done it with another guy's(named Guy)2xR100s. Great sound.
Ok, I'll plead ignorant here but never thought of or I guess heard of that. And if I really thought the 100 wouldn't suffice I could just use my Rumble 500 and have that power right?
