Shipped. Arriving on Monday. 13.8 kgs (30.4 lbs) total weight, including packaging for both. Still epic!Just ordered a Studio 40 and GTX-7 footswitch from Thomann. Pics when they arrive.

To run both amps from one bass, I'd daisy chain the amps from the back. It makes no difference whether you plug the bass into the 200 or 500 because the preamp sections are the same. A lot of us have done this before with amazing results. It takes one instrument cable to do it. All tone controls are now in one place because you are only accessing the second amp's power section. Give that a try and see if you like it. It's an easy experiment and I bet you'll love it!Running a Rumble 500 and 200 together with a Y splitter, or ?
I just took delivery of my R500 and R200 and have been thinking about 2 options when I need more power/punch for bigger shows without FOH support.
A: Run both combo’s side by side with a Y splitter connection from my 5 string active bass’s.
B: Get the 210 extension cab to use with either my R500 or R200.
Opinions and thoughts welcomed.
Cheers, Davyo

As I mentioned in the thread where I made your aquaintance, daisy-chaining via the effects loop is the way to go. It gives you more or less the same power as adding the 210 cab, and a single instrument cable is all it takes. And since one preamp controls both power amps, you only have one EQ section and one volume control to deal with. Not to mention that you save a fair chunk of cash not having to shell out for an extra cab.Running a Rumble 500 and 200 together with a Y splitter, or ?

just run a cable from the effects send on one of the combos to the effects return on the other. You'll then control the whole 2*10 + 1*15, 490 w stack with the master combo. Works perfect.Running a Rumble 500 and 200 together with a Y splitter, or ?

Random thought: since it's bass related, would the weight be kgb?
The only justification I can see to run a "Y"-or better yet a splitter-would be to EQ the 2 amps differently for whatever reason(one clean, one w o/d ?). Otherwise, daisy chain 'em.just run a cable from the effects send on one of the combos to the effects return on the other. Ha. Well, it's certainly not KTN (kilotons). KTN is reserved for the SPL of the Dead's Wall Of Sound!Random thought: since it's bass related, would the weight be kgb?

I use the MXR81 for now, which does well but is a bit noisy. When I am playing out again, I want to get a https://www.mastereffectspedals.com/super-eight-hundred-plus .So what preamps are you folks running in front of the tumbler? I really like the straight up Rumble sound, clean and dirty, but sometimes want something a bit different.
Sorry. I was rushin' to reply. Why are you imPutin' weird stuff onto this thread?
He doesn't need to introduce himself! I remember him from such films as "Today We Kill, Tomorrow We Die" and "Gladys the Groovy Mule."
