Fender Rumble Club

They could tell I am in France, switched me to the Fender site that ships to France. The whopping savings was 315 € instead of 349 €. Whoop-dee-f'ing-do. Like I said, we don't get the big discounts here. Still, better than nothing. But I already bought a Studio 40. When I get into a permanent house, I'll buy my 200c/210. Neither of those had any discount. I buy from Thomann anyway.

When we start gigging, I'd like to buy a 210 cab, just because I have G.A.S. My Stage 800 is more than capable of handling any place we're likely to play. And I'd like another bass or 2 (or more). Thinking of a Hofner B-Bass and a G&L Kiloton Tribute, and possibly a semi-hollow body of some kind. But right now, only thinking of them. :)

What a beautiful area. Great that you get to enjoy it. If I ever go back to France, I'd love spend some time in an area like that (went once on a business trip, stayed in Paris for a couple of days.)
If you make it back, hit me up. I'm easy to get to. 4 hour high speed TGV train from Paris to Bordeaux, then a 45 minute regional train ride to Arcachon. Easy peasy. You've been to Paris, so you've seen the driving. Trains are the way to go!

I belong to no religion. My father was a Lutheran preacher who failed to beat the love of J into me. And he tried. Many times. Sad to say, but I don't miss him even a little bit. But I'm happy for the holiday!
Commiserations - I know how you feel. :(
We used to have a Lutheran state church in this country, but church and state got separated a few years back. We retain the holidays, though.

I'm sorry I couldn't be of more help. Good luck getting what you want, you still might get lucky with a sale at some point.

Most certainly will! Beginning to plan a trip to Italy in August. Maybe I can talk the wife into a few days in France. Bordeaux would be extremely enticing for her. And a then a trip down your way would be fun stop over as well. Having someone to recommend what to do in the local area is always better than just doing the typical tourist stuff.

Sending P.M.

Attention: Rumble Club Wiki Edit Alert!

Hear ye! Hear ye! [Yet Again! Still Another time!] Yes, again, another of all these articles naming Rumbles as "Best Amp" has again been added to your Rumble Club Wiki page at the bottom of the Rumble V3 Reviews section. Rumbles took the top spot in the best bass amps under $200 and 2 of the 7 best bass combos under $1000 (including the top spot)!

The TGV is cool, for sure. My wife and I have driven from Paris to the Côte d’Azur a few times, though. The traffic in Paris is murder, obviously, but l’autoroute du Soleil is OK.

English-French dictionary
hell = périphérique

With all the motos lane-splitting, it's a real thrill ride getting from Paris-Roissy Charles de Gaulle airport north of Paris to anywhere south. Since all roads lead to Paris, there's no avoiding it. Want to go north-south in France but avoid Paris? That bypass is called "Germany." Real inconvenient, that.

To get this back on topic, my first two purchases after I find a house to rent and move in:

Since I am also a guitar player, I am looking at the newer Tone Master Deluxe Reverb Blonde. It weighs only 23 pounds, which puts it at about the same as my Rumble 100. It is class D (no tubes) like the Rumbles. The tube version 65 Deluxe Reverb reissue weighs 42 pounds, almost double. I consider this to be the guitarist's version of the Rumbles.

I'm right there with you, Mr. T. If I didn't already have more guitar amps than I'll ever need I'd be all over a Tone Master Deluxe.

As it is, I dream of a Tone Master Bassman combo, as shown in The Bassman Club.

Yesterday I played a squire jaguar through a rumble LT25... Wow! Great bass, great amp! I've played through a couple single 8" practice amps in my day, and this one is without a doubt the loudest (and still really clear sounding). The LT25's are digital right? Are digital amps somehow louder than "regular" amps?

Sorry to hear that. Someone was missing the point by a couple of solar systems.

Paris is one of the few cities I've seen that I have no desire to drive in. But then, there's no need to! trains and feet are generally the way to go.
