Thanx, I ready them so for that I asked being not interested in the combo and being not sure the hardware is the same in the two models. Do you own a non combo version, correct? Thanx again

No, sorry. I own a Rumble Studio 40 combo and a Rumble 500 combo. But, I'm an avid follower of this thread and only very occasionally does anyone complain of a noisy fan, most often in the combos.

Hopefully, some Rumble 800 HD owners will comment on their fans' behavior.

I didn't even know mine has a fan. So, I'd guess not noisy at all.

I have the R200cV3 combo. The fan is Always On. If there is NO other sound in the room, ie: no Talking, no HVAC running, no coffee maker, and certainly no sound at all from the speaker…Then and Only then do I hear it. I just finished 2 hours of practice with plenty of gaps in playing. The buzz from my Fender JB was the only thing I heard then….When playing my home built with split coil Bartolinis, I only heard the same type humm from the PA. Totally forgot there is a fan until I got on TB and saw this thread again.

I've had my Rumble 200 for a long time and I've never heard a fan. So, I just went and fired it up. Sure enough, if I put my ear to the back, I can hear it. Barely. It's quiet enought that I wasn't even aware of it.

Yup. I've had my 200c since 11/2015. I didn't know there was a fan 'til it was mentioned in Rumble Club.

Well, it has 5 strings on it, but only 4 of those are actually good, and one more is missing entirely.

Oh, yeah! My Rumbles (and Bassman amps) give my 6-string guits a great rich, full tone that guitar amps just can't do!
