Fender Rumble Club

Count me in. Just got a Rumble 100, 1x12.
Really amazed at the sound, volume & features for $300.00.
Plan on using for rehearsals, jams and the latest low volume
gigs in beer pubs, coffee houses and etc...

Oh, lawd, we're glad for you to be in our number! @MrLenny1, you are now member #1521 in the Fender Rumble Club. Congratulations and welcome. Please put that number in your TalkBass Signature for safe keeping. Then make yourself at home here and on your Rumble Club Wiki page, the repository of all Rumbling wisdom and knowledge.

How about telling us a bit about yourself, such as your bass experience in general and your Rumble journey in particular? Whatever your situation, you're bound to fit right in here, since we have all kinds. But we all love to ... ... ...

Rumble On!

Hello again,
Coming back with same problem of my amp basically sounding like all high end is gone after buying two new Mogami cables, a new compressor pedal and new strings. Im at my wits end with this and idk what to do

Do you have any other amps to try? Do they have the same problem, with your basses and effects, in the same locations?

Had a weird and scarry thing happen at band practice tonight. I decided that my studio 40 didn't really have enough umph for a gig I have on Saturday, so I decided to piggybacked it to an old (and
god-awful heavy) Behringer BHL3000 (300 watt 15).

I practiced with it today and dialed in the patches I need...everything worked great. Packed it up and head to practice, hooked everything up, turned it on, all ready to get down with the big bass sound and... nothing.

Checked everything, even replaced the battery. finally decided to turn it off and back on...presto, everything worked great. has anyone else hade this happen?

Furman SS-6B 6-outlet Surge Suppressor Strip

How would this one be? I have no affiliation with the store.

I have the version linked below it adds extreme voltage shutdown via a relay. It’ll shut down with extreme over and under voltages so you lose sound from your amp while the condition exists but it’ll ultimately be protected from damaging voltage extremes if they occur.

Is your question, would this be a power conditioner? I'm pretty sure NO. This is a really good power strip/surge protector. I did a lot of research to find the lowest price, quality power conditioner our there......and the best I found was the Furman 2+6 Series Power Conditioner....currently about $71. Worth the investment. All I can say is, " it works for me".

This place has it for $48.98 as of 7/29/2022. I'm not affiliated with any store, either.

My new Fender Rumble 100. Going to use it for gigging on small gigs (I can hook into our PA if needed).

Kool, Kyle! You know, you can also plug the Left (Mono) FX Send of your Rumble Studio 40 into the input of your Rumble 100 to reinforce all its various sounds and tones, too.

And, if you had a second Rumble 100 you could plug the Right FX Send of the Studio into that input to reinforce the Studio in glorious STEREO!

Just a thought.

Hol' up... explain that now, what's it doing for me to do this?

I just want to testify my Rumble Brothers! 3 years ago I bought my son a Rumble 25 for Christmas. Had a 20 year old Squier and gave that to him as well. He pretty much ignored it and he gave it to a young family member. She left it outside in the barn where it cooked at 120 degrees during the first summer. After that it literally sat outside in our back field through Rain Wind and weather. One day while walking the property I came upon it’s sad little carcass all burnt up and brown.:crying: My son said it no longer worked! I had very little hope for it to ever work again. I grabbed the once beautiful little amp and took into my work shop where it was given the once over with DeOxit. I used it on the control panel and covering as well. Plugged in a bass not expecting much but it lit up, man did it ever come to life! Sounded better than new! The poor little combo that could! The pic is after I cleaned it up. With a little more work I should be able to get it looking pretty good!

I doubt you'll be giving anything similar to either of the kids in question (unless you're motoring its use) after that experience.
