Noticed a Fender Rumble 500,for sale,but led lights stay on blinking no matter what you do even changing settings? Willing to sell fairly reasonable. Any suggestions,as to why the red lights still stay on?

By using the plural, lights, do you really mean that both the Overdrive and Power lights blink?!? Are they synchronized, or on different intervals? Pushing the Overdrive button doesn't turn the Overdrive button off?
Synchronized flashing indicates global intermittent power, to me. In that case I'd expect the sound to be intermittent, too. Different intervals indicate power and Overdrive problems, to me. Either way, I wouldn't pay much for such an obviously problematic amp.
Has the owner not even consulted any techs for possible resolutions (as if you could trust their sales pitch diagnosis)?

I just posted this over on the "your rig of choice for this weekend" thread, but I figured I'd post it here, too.
Fender Rumble 500 v3 head into a GK Neo 112II cabinet.
Boss OC-2 octave pedal (for one song).
1989 Squier II P-Bass (made in Korea). DR Pure Blues strings, 45-105 (about a month old).
It was a low volume duo gig with a guy who sings and plays acoustic guitar, hi-hat and cajon. I needed to bring a rig which was compact and had a warm, full, natural (more "tube" than hi-fi) sound. I couldn't have been happier!!
My settings on the amp:
Gain: all the way counter-clockwise.
Vintage: on (other switches off).
Bass and treble flat, mids at 2 o'clock.
Volume: 9 o'clock.
Bass: volume at 100%, tone varying between 25% and 100%.
Tweeter on cabinet: off.

I've been playing at home with my Rumble 30 since late January and it seems to me like this amp puts out a good share for being so small! Originally I was looking at the Rumble 15 but went with the 30 because of the extra input jack, more wattage, and I read online reviews which said the 30 would be good enough to play with a band in a small venue even versus the 15 which didn't have as much bang.
Hope to hear form some fellow Rumble fans soon!

Some people seem to think you need to post a photo of your Rumble, as other clubs require such pertinent pix. But, as you see in The Club Originating post that you quoted (thrice, now), there was no picture and no mention of such a requirement.
Therefore, just tell us what model Rumble you have and you will be added to The Club! But we do love to see pictures.

After some research I decided on the Rumble 500 combo. There were so many great choices available but this worked best for me. I’ve played a bunch of shows with it and it has delivered every time. It’s my first Fender Bass amp.
The bass is a VR USA passive Jazz Bass. Fender did an amazing job with this line. It was very difficult to locate this makeup though.

I'm thinking of getting a Rumble 500 combo and have a question about the effects loop. If an effect pedal is patched into the return and send (in this case, a Tech 21 paradriver); does it bypass the amp tone circuit? Does the power section become available without the Rumble preamp? I have a GK mb150 combo that does bypass the tone stack, and I like that for using the Tech 21 pedal for upright bass.
I believe everything would still be in play if you hook it up between the send and return. Probably you'd want to plug your bass into the Tech 21 and then directly into the effects return. Someone else will probably have more information, but I think that is how you'd do it.
If you use the Rumble's FX Send into the Tech 21 you get the Rumble's preamp signal mixed in. If you do not use the FX Send then you don't get the preamp signal. Simple as that.

Right, I do plug the upright into the Tech 21 pedal and would use the effects return to bypass the Rumble preamp? That is what I do with the GK combo, I use the return jack only. Thank you for your help, guys!
Right. Using only the Return jack bypasses all the Rumble controls. Only the Tech 21 controls have any effect.
