Yahboy housing would be good for a bigger rumble, say an 800 if they ever come out with one, but if so, PLEaSE add a pre post switch to the di, or at least make it pre master volume. Post master is no bueno. Tuner out is a must (also great for daisy chaining without the need for ab box). Also a 4 button footswitch would be uber, for the shape buttons as well as overdrive. And a little place to store it when you pull off the grille/logo plate. The housing would add enough weight to not need the magnets, thus making it more appealing to non rumble cab owners.

I don`t remember if i have written that i have a 2005 Rumble 100, but it is said now. It has that felt covering which i don`t like, is it big work to replace it with vinyl?
First things first! Welcome to the Fender Rumble Club, savofenno! :woot: You are member #423 :hyper:
It's nice to see an original first version Rumble 100 still in action 10 years later. Yes, the black carpeting that was popular then on many different brands of amps came to be disparagingly nick named 'rat fur'. Stripping it off and putting on new Tolex will be a chore to be sure, but if you dislike it that much, go for it. Just have plenty of curse words handy. ;) and whiskey. :roflmao:

 Rumble On!

That is actually two Fender straps. One on top of the other. The wide one is a Fender Tweed from about 1985 or so, and the Brown on Gold Fender script is also from the same time period. I simply wove the narrow strap through the wide strap's adjustment slider and then strap locked the two together at both ends. They've been that way for 30 years now.

I thought that was maybe what you did. It looks nice.

Thanks for your quick answer! My cat has already began to strip the felt cover off. I worry mostly how much parts i have to mount off to get all felt away.

I just got off the phone with Fender, and while it took a little bit of doing the Fender Specialist (as they are now called) was able to locate the parts list for the V3 Rumble 100 combo and also the V3 Rumble 112 cabinet. The part numbers for the 12" woofers are different, so the woofers themselves are different. If they were the same, they would have the identical part number. I also have sent an email for more in depth intel, but this may take some time. As always  Rumble On!

I've been looking on the Fender.com.au site - It seems there is no 112 for Australia, or a 2x10 except in the 500 combo.

Ok, so does 'rat fur' denote that my Rumble 15 is first version?

Since they are new designs just recently becoming available in Europe and America, there isn't any reason why they won't make their way to Australia. Go ahead and contact Fender Australia directly and ask them when (not if) the Rumble 112 and 210 cabinets will be available for purchase. Should be soon.

I may just do that. It will be a while before I'm ready to buy, but no harm in exploring options and then planning a way to achieve the prize. :)

Thank You Tad. Fender makes two different tweed straps but they just aren't the same color or weave, and they're not 3" wide like mine is.

I know, I already looked. I have one of the narrower ones on one of my guitars.

If I run across one of those wide tweed straps I might have to steal your idea.
