Fender Rumble Club

That would be nice. It would tempt me to sell my Combo 200 and buy a second 1-15 Cab:woot:. If it was a Club 400 Head.

Great idea, .... I would have sold my C200, bought the Club 400 and modified my 1-15 cab to black...oh well :bawl: and :poop:.

No, no, no. You were going to help G-Dog buy his!

Nope...they must be growing some good stuff down in Round Rock :cigar:!

I read it here. It must be true!

Even if I only read what I wrote.

Oh, how the enthusiasm has waned!

Stories like this are exactly why I'm leaning toward the 500 for my next amp. I'm in a place where I can very reasonably afford it, and I love that it can scale up to whatever volume I could ever conceivably need without being extremely heavy or awkward to move.

Go for "just reasonably afford" rather than "very..." and spring for the R800c. Total power versatility at only 29 pounds. You won't be disappointed.

Just got tired of the wait :laugh::laugh:!
Zackly. I(we)hoped/hinted/cajoled/begged/etc., knowing that the powers that be at 7ender read this thread. Nope. I, for one, am thoroughly set with my R40, R100, R200c, and Kasino for anything that should come along. I'm playing a concert Sunday with an orchestra-as opposed to the concert band-with violins, violas, cellos, flutes, bassoon(s), and 1 1/2 UB players(one's excellent, the other[1/2]is one of her students. I'm really not needed, but the conductor didn't know the bass teacher(who's gorgeous btw)was gonna do the concert. We're doing some symphonic stuff and some Broadway numbers. It'll be interesting. And it helps me keep my reading ability up.

The online stores have great return policies. In fact, I ordered the Rumble 500 combo in 2014 with the explicit plan to send it back!! I just wanted to know where it didn't meet expectations. I mean, really, how in the world could a 2x10", weighing under 40 lb.s and costing just $499.99, back then, be as good as all that ad hype? I was a 15" snob and a Bassman fan. But, WOW!!! The R500c knocked me out! It even handled the low B on my 5-string with strong rich tones! And 10" speakers instead of 15"!! Whoda thunk it? Needless to say, it didn't go back and is celebrating it's 10th anniversary as my go-to big amp.

By 2019 I had survived a year of GAS for either a Stage or Studio modeling amp. I had loaned my 1st generation Fender B-DEC 30 modeling amp to a newby bassist I was mentoring. I really didn't expect to send the Studio 40 back after ordering it. At least, I really didn't want to have to. And, again, WOW!!! The Studio 40 lived up to all my hopes & dreams! The software worked as expected, I had nearly memorized the manual, and the various tones sounded great! I played all the signature songs for the presets. So, that Rumble didn't go back, either.

But, I have tried, and returned, other gear from online stores. But, my ratio of keepers obviously keeps me on their contact lists.
.

I suppose that's another way to do it. I just hate the hassle, and I've never been one to go into a purchase expecting to return it. I often spend so much time deliberating on something I want to buy I miss the opportunity or just talk myself out of it.

Glad I'm not the only one who does this!

Nope, you aren't alone.

I have one bass of my 4 that I jumped on without the deliberation and while I love how it looks, it plays well, no issues, but. It's not an expensive bass, it's just more than I want to invest in wall art. When I go to play I find myself grabbing one of my parts-basses 99% of the time.

I'm not sure why spell check would recommend that as a word. I typed Crematic into Google and got pages for Ceramic.

However, I like the idea of new words so maybe we need to make it one so it will show up in Google.

Maybe Crematic speakers are what you need to use for Death Metal.
Def Leppard used Crematic[tm] speakers on the Pyromania tour.

I'll raise a glass of covfefe to that!

G-Dog suggested I join this group by telling a bit about the Fender Rumble LT25 I just bought so….

i’m 70 y.o. total beginner. Bought a Epiphone Rumblekat to learn to play reggae while I recuperate and can return to playing golf. I found a Marshall MB-30 a while back for 8000¥/$50 right before I went into the hospital. Came out, still can’t play BUT I can buy stuff. Wanted the Rumble Studio 40 but couldn’t find a used one at the right price. Ran across a LT25 for 16,000¥/$100. Alk I want is something to practice with but that LT got me with all the different effects I can screw around with.

Wanted to hook the MB-30 to the LT25 but G-Dog said he’d like to see how that works out, so my guess is that it won’t. Oh, well…..such is life.

Just a couple pics of my Rumble 200, I have the 115ext cab but lately I only practice in a small room so I stored the ext cab in the closet, the amp alone is really loud in a small area. Together the 2x15s and 200 watts push a lot of volume, the 500 or 800 with a 2x10 must be insane loud if needed.
Hoping to get the new 800 non effects combo this year and keep the 200 as a spare.
Rock and Rumble! Have a great day/night. Peace.

Hey, Zerpy! @Zerpersande, you are now member #1758 in the Fender Rumble Club. Congratulations and welcome. Put that number in your TalkBass Signature for safe keeping. Then make yourself at home here and on your Rumble Club Wiki page, the repository of all Rumbling wisdom and knowledge.

Sorry, Zerp, my initial thought was that the Rumble LT25 doesn't have any output suitable for connecting to the Marshall MB-30. But, now I see the MB-30 has an FX Send that could go to the LT25's Input. Starting at very low volume levels and increasing slowly while playing, that should be a satisfactory connection for those two amps.

Glad you like the Rumble LT25's different sounds! But, please post any bass modeling discussions in your Rumble LT25, Studio 40 & Stage 800 sub-thread to help keep this main thread less complicated, OK? And get well soon!

So, you're a total bass beginner, eh? Well, you'll fit right in here since we have all kinds. But we all love to ... ... ...

Rumble On!
