Make a simple drawing (or a formal one) of the dimensions you want and take it around to places that make awnings, shades, etc. Or just take the amp to them. I work sometimes for a sail maker and we get walk-ins all the time who want a cover for some odd item or another. Just keep it simple; added features like snaps, straps, handles, Velcro, etc. start adding cost in a hurry. The cover for my v2 350 combo was basically 3 pieces (left-top-right, front, back) with a few strategic cut-outs.

Thanks for the tip! Though there aren't many of those in my area either, and the price could still easily pass $100.

Since I'm fairly good at sewing, I'll try doing it myself when I have the time. I'll post some pics when I'm done.

My 2x10 came in the mail yesterday! Already loving it, it has a much crisper and cutting tone than the 2x15. I have band practice tonight, so I'll give it the full band mix test, but I think its going to be perfect.

Bonus points for it fitting perfectly under my Bh500 without me even measuring or considering that would be an issue. When I unboxed it I was hoping that it was not going to be smaller than the head. Here's a photo of the downsized rig with the Hartke 2x15 sulking in the background because it knows its going on craigslist soon.

Welcome to the Fender Rumble Club, BlueShox! :woot: You are member #443 :hyper:
:D Rumbles Rule! :D

The 500 was delivered today! It's official. Boy it does get loud and stays clear, unless of course the OD is turned on.
First time attaching a pic, I hope it works. I'm just a little bummed it doesn't have a tuner output, I don't know why I thought it did.

Can you please help me understand this. Why is a tuner output important? I have never seen one and would have no clue how to use it. I simply put my tuner in line...

My rig connects something like this...

Bass --> Cable --> Tuner before anything else --> jumper --> Effects --> Cable --> Rumble.

How would a tuner output work? I mean in line I can mute when I use the tuner, would a tuner out work that way too?

Sorry, I am just trying to wrap my head around this...

Some people prefer to have the tuner be running all the time and have a mute switch elsewhere. You can do it with an active splitter/pedal loop pedal. On my wireless receiver (Shure GLX whatever) I have my receiver, which is also a tuner, set so that it's always showing the needle. I can step on it to mute the signal if I want, but the tuner is always active. If I'm halfway across the stage and I know one string is off, I can quickly tune it without having to come back to the pedalboard.

That looks great. You should get a second 2x10. :)

Was looking through the Fender Bass Cab owners manual, (not much there BTW) and found it odd that they recommended removing casters so the cab would couple with the floor and extend the cabs response......I just went through hell trying to get a heavy Acoustic combo and extension cab Decoupled from the floor to stifle some boomieness that sounded horrible in our practice space.

It may be possible to improve sound by coupling, but I doubt I'll ever play Carnagie Hall where the stage is designed to be part of the acoustics.
I get what you're saying, but in the case on my 112 cabs it's way mondo better if the cabs are on the floor. no boom. I was at rehearsal with one 112 on top of a single 15. I put it on the floor and everyone, me included, was shocked at the depth it put out. without boom.

There you go. :) Been thinking about a cover for my v3 Rumble 100, but not many make them, and they're expensive to ship to my part of the world as well, if they ship at all. Think I'll probably go the DIY route and make my own :)
My mother in law was kind enough to make me a killer two-tone cover, cream and black. It worked great until I picked it up in the garage to load into my car and a giant spider jumped out from 'neath the cover. I live in FL. Message being, don't hide any places where one of our giant bugs could be.

and then there was the 6 ft snake I saw slithering from the garage...

In Norway, our spiders are small and well-behaved, and our snakes are few :)

I can see that with the light weight Rumbles. Mine sit right on the floor too. I was having problems with a much heavier Acoustic rig, no longer a problem with the Rumbles.

I'm using a tuner in the house that doesn't have an output, so I can't put it inline. Once I get good enough to join a band and play out, I'll get a polytune or similar to go inline. But for practicing, it's nice to use my little Korg and just turn it on and tune up. I don't see why they couldn't put one on there. Shoot, put that in place of the Aux in, i'm never going to hook my phone up to the amp to jam along with when my computer with 2.1 speakers is 3 feet away from it. ;)

I gave the Rumble 500 a better go tonight. Even at low volume, I can't believe how inspiring it is. Even my preamp on the Ibanez sr400 seems to jump to life more. The punch and smoothness is just awesome. It had me playing with confidence. Unfortunately the beer/scotch was kicking in at the end and my timing started to suffer, but man that was some great sounding sloppiness.

Huh... Never thought about that. I have several little Korg tuners as well.

I do use the Aux in a lot...
