Fender Rumble Club

I'd go for r100 on top, cause it's smaller. :) Then it's controls that You could reach easier, so it would be r100's send > r200's return.
But whatever You come up with, preamps are identical.

(well, mostly, there is a "newer r100 with pre/post DI", just like the hd800 head/r800 combo where master is after EFX return, so one's volume is independently controlled. if not, everything is controlled on the "send" side, including volume)

The mighty rumble wiki could be resourceful and interesting to You!

I'm curious how You will like (or not) the 2 together!

I have nothing intelligent to add, other than I love this loud stack of rumble 500 and 2x10. Blows everyone away at each gig and looks ace.

I love the chained R100 and R200. The 12" and 15" together are magic to my ears. YMMV, but definitely give it a try.

I hooked the 100>200 once at the house; once on a gig.

IF your R100 does NOT have a Pre/Post button and you use its FX Send jack, then it CAN completely control the R200 at its FX Return jack! The signal strength & EQ to both units is completely controlled by the R100 knobs.

IF your R100(a) DOES have a Pre/Post button and you use its FX Send jack, then it CANNOT completely control the R200 at its FX Return jack! ONLY the EQ to both units is controlled by the R100(a). The signal strength to the R200 is NOT CONTROLLED AT ALL and neither units' Master will affect it, so the R200 may always be FULL BLAST!!!

So IF your R100(a) DOES has a Pre/Post button you MAY prefer to use its FX RETURN jack from the R200's FX Send jack. That way the R200 controls ONLY the EQ to both units, but each units' Master controls its own volume!!!

Well, this all sounds like secret Yank talk to me, but believe me, we down under have our own version of secret talk that nobody outside of Oz can understand. It's called "Strine". But the good thing is that no matter where we live, we all love us some Boomshakalacka, & the best Boomshakalacka comes from a Fender Rumble Boomshakalacka. Whatcha reckon?

I own a R200 and a R100 (original version, no pre-post switch).
I tried daisy-chaining the two, and was disappointed to find that the R100 contributed much less than I expected to the overall volume level.
The level of the R100 is almost exactly 6dB less than the R200, no matter which amp is the "master" and which is the "slave".

Sometimes when I daisy chain two Rumbles, I actually go into the regular input so I can control the volume of both. I know this is not the regular method, but it was worked well for me in some circumstances.

That could also work (but efx out is usually a much higher signal than an instrument).
What I got is an A/B/Y pedal, so I can put it anywhere in the signal chain to "branch off" into another amp.

Yeah, I should have mentioned I've got a Basslite in my R100 which evens out the volume between the two nicely.
