Thank you for that update @Big Hoss![]()
I have the same rig, but it hasn't been gettin' much lovin' since I picked up the 500 combo. Did you mount the logo on the side? I was thinking about getting some of the new Fender cloth so everything matches. Here's a pic of my new v3 500 head & v2 cab together, still in the honeymoon stage with my lakland P5..so my fenders haven't been getting much love lately still getting use to hearing bass through a cab since I've been playing my basses direct for the last couple of years...View attachment 650325
I did mount it on the side with some Velcro but I may just take it off altogether. The 410 was being blown out for 199 and I couldn't pass it but it's heavy, looking to get a 15 cab in the future..I have the same rig, but it hasn't been gettin' much lovin' since I picked up the 500 combo. Not sure about driver weight, but MDF construction plus a larger front shelf ported cabinet made the 4 ohm V2 Rumble 410 something like 77 pounds. They sound great and sold hand-over-fist until they were replaced by the new 8 ohm V3 Rumble 410. A Rumble 350 head on top of the Rumble 410 made for a very serious gig-rig especially for a total cost of $650 shipped. It blew the competition out of the water and into the weeds. Were the v2 cabs heavier because of mdf construction, heavier magnets or both?
Enough power for what? If you cruise this thread, you will find that everyone has flavor tested their Rumbles in various scenarios with all different styles of music. The only reason I could see myself purchasing a head (like the Hartke) with more watts would be if I were constantly doing larger shows with zero-to-nil FOH support....not sure if the rumble with [sic] have enough power??
