Fender Rumble Club

...I agree with @jlepre, the 210 would probably be a much more even match with a 115 cab......
It is. In general, a single 15 moves about as much air as a pair of 10's. So four 10's move twice as much air as a single 15. Pop a 410 cab on top of a 115, and no one even hears the 15 at stage volume. If you put the 115 on top of the 410 at least you and your band will hear it, and maybe some dancers, but out in the room the audience is going to hear the 410.

To you, what is a small venue? I asked because a friend invited me to a ''small venue''and when I got there,well.....wished I had brought the 200c instead of the r40.
Small to me is about 40-75 people. Room sizes vary, but the one we play the most is a narrow (25ft) by about 40-45 feet long. The stage and seating area is that size i should clarify. Standing room only sometimes. (Not because of us, it's just a new popular place)

About the same here as we call them ''beer&wine taverns''. they can get loud to.We actually have fun playing those because it's no stress and most anything works-accept the pay of course. It's mostly for fun.A rumble 100c would be ideal. Will have in about (2)wks.

+1 & usually the ONLY reason a 410 on top of a 115 sounds "so good" is coz the 410 is now up at ear level. ...and yr amp is running at a different impedance - more power.
I'm for either 2 x 410s or 2 x 115s or. ..... 2 vertically stacked 210s

I am just not a fan of 10's. I love 15's. Today's 12" woofers have come a long way in terms of producing good solid bottom end that I really like. Due to weight lifting restrictions I have chosen a pair of V2 Rumble 112's. Also for their smaller footprint. I've not heard the V3 Rumble 112's, but trust the Rumble Club members that have. In the end just buy what you like and enjoy it.

Tonight's Tuesday open mic/jam will be with the Rumble 200. I have been taking the 100 lately. Every so often I like to bring the 200 because I like it just that much more!! It doesn't take up much more room on stage.

We have a drummer who has sort of joined us on Tuesdays. I will be sporting my new Fender earplugs. I am not a fan of louder-than necessary cymbals...... Others complain about guitarists; my gripe is with unprofessionally loud drummers. Fortunately, Fender (earplugs) has my hearing in mind.

One of my favorite sayings is: "It takes a really good drummer to be better than no drummer."

Time to hit the road. Precision + Rumble 200 = :bassist::hyper::hyper::hyper:

I like the sound of my Rumble 100 v3 for band practice, but I am afraid it might not cut it for a performance. I really wonder how much more sound it would make with a 100W 15" PA plugged into the XLR port.
Or I could just get another, bigger Rumble...

someone gave the detail on connectiong R100s together via the effects channels further up the thread. not long ago. i think Linnin gave a Fender view on that as well.

Cheers.

This just posted on Angeline Saris' facebook page: "Flew out of SFO at 6:30 AM and watched the sunrise from the airplane. Landed in Phoenix and spent a super fun afternoon at Fender trying out an exciting new bass amp, the new Elite series jazz bass and visiting with good people."

Fender just sent us an Elite Jazz 5 for review in BGM, and I do happen to know a bit about the "exciting new bass amp." We have one of those coming our way, too, and I do think folks will be happy! But, of course, the world being what it is, some people will gripe about it not being something different... Personally, I'm quite excited! :hyper:
