Very cool...I have the 500C as well, but never needed to pair ir with my matching 210 cab yet. Wondering why you decided to lay it on it's side? Because of the ports?Upgraded to the 500 v3 combo after initially playing the 40w combo. I am absolutely in love with the sound these things put out. Paired it with an Orange OBC115, and it freakin' THUMPS! Took just the combo on tour, and it was a faithful servant. Even kept up nicely with a drumkit and a half-stack!
Wow @ubernator! You really got hit hard. That sucks totally. I hope they catch the thief.
Glad you still have your bass and Rumble 200 combo. Finding a cab that will match up well that isn't a Rumble 115 or 112 is a total crap shoot. You just have to try them out at volume and listen for yourself. If you have any credit at all, try one of major e-tailers that have 0% interest payment plans. Better to pay $50 for 6 months for a brand new cabinet that you know will be a solid sonic match.
Best of luck to you in your future.

I wonder if it would be better to match up the ports as the Rumble is bottom ported IIRC. Would that be better for the sound?I just liked the aesthetics of it that way; looks more pleasing to the eye. The Orange is side-ported, which if I stand the combo vertical, looks wonky to me.
Ideally the only thing that comes out (and goes into) your ports is air. Not sound. All your sound should becoming from the surface of your woofer's cone. This is the reason proper cabinet design and acoustic lining is so important.I wonder if it would be better to match up the ports as the Rumble is bottom ported IIRC. Not only are you going to be 'the talk of the town' you are going to be the talk of many towns. Nations perhaps.I know.. right! I just got done testing it.. there is a difference to it than any other amp that I have used in the last year.. my most recent amp acquisition was the Mesa D800.. that amp is a lot darker compared to the SB 300. But I have a feeling that the SB 300 is going to do better on the stage..
