You really don't bring extension cords and powerstrips to gigs?

I only use my 100 for home practice and small gigs. For anything larger I play through my 200. The 200 has only run out of steam once outside, which made me wish I had the extension cab to get the full 200 watt. If I were going to run the 100 at a bigger gig, I'd run the line out to the PA if that was an option.Well, I FINALLY got a chance to play my Rumbles full blast with a band yesterday. Thankfully I brought both the 40 and 100 just in case. Tried the 100 alone and it just wasn't enough! So I went from 100's effects send into 40's input and stacked them.
The room we setup in was a meeting room of sorts with a row of tables down the middle and chairs lining the walls. Very few plugins. So I was a little farther away from everyone. And due to furniture and plugin spacing my amps were out away from the wall pointing at the drummer with nothing behind the amps. I was essentially in the middle of the room. I'm really hoping that's why, but the drummer kept wanting me to turn up! I could hear myself fine from 5-10 feet away and throughout rest of room, but it definitely could have been bassier and louder. And most of my sound was coming from the 40 sitting on top of the 100.
Side note:evidently our rumbles have a limiter light! I noticed when I would turn up too much the overdrive would flicker. I kept it down so this wasn't going off when I played.
We will probably play again next weekend and I'm going to bring extension cords/power strips so I can move where I want. I'm really hoping if I move my amps in front of a wall or in a corner it will help my volume.
Any other suggestions from people using the 100 with full bands?
I'm looking into running mic's from my rumble cabs fwiw.I only use my 100 for home practice and small gigs. For anything larger I play through my 200. Sorry. Guess I should've stated more clearly this was a practice/jam. First time getting all the musicians together in the same place, so it was a meet and greet jam sorta thing. Drummer hasn't played in several years but was actually pretty good. Just loud haha. And I normally carry a power strip in my car but just cleaned it out the other day. Stupid on my part.
Just like we all play softer when we don't know what the hell we're supposed to be playing, lol.
Lol I am guilty of this. And yea I'll be more prepared next time. And I'll check out the essentials for sure. Thanks!
I just got my amp covers from this seller for my 500C & 210 and they are a perfect fit. Seller isn't the most responsive, but he had mine made and shipped in less than a week. Here is a cover for the Rumble 200. Different builder and different material. I really need to get one also since I haul my 200 quite a bit.
Fender Rumble 200 Amp Cover
I've never noticed a limiter on my 500c, and never had anyone tell me to turn up. I play with a fairly loud cover band with guitars keys and drums. Sounds like you needed a bit more headroom,, so that is why I went with the 500c.Well, I FINALLY got a chance to play my Rumbles full blast with a band yesterday. Given the successful marriage of the Super Bassman front end to the Rumble 500 power section begating the Bassman 500, would a similar marriage between the Bronco 40 and either the Rumble 200 or 500 be appealing?
If you could only have one more powerful option, which would you prefer:That would be awesome. That was always my only quibble with the Bronco, the lack of power. I would love to have one that I can use at a big venue.
If you could only have one more powerful option, which would you prefer:
The Bronco 200 1x15 combo? or the Bronco 500 2x10 combo? Both with the very same powered extension speaker outputs as the Rumble.
I don't. Instead of the stock 6 footer, I bring a 25-foot C13 power cable. My pedalboard uses C5 cable going into a Cioks pedal power unit, so I usually pack a 20 footer. You really don't bring extension cords and powerstrips to gigs?
One more power option? Maybe a rumble 800-1k head/cabs series, the bronco 200 1x15 or 500 2x 10 combo would seem to be too close to the highly successful rumbles. If you could only have one more powerful option, which would you prefer:

I much prefer having that than a bunch of extensions. I don't have any wall warts or anything of the sort, so if a venue has any electricity at all, two long cables means I can position my gear wherever I want. Has never been an issue that way.
Worked fine for me..@GregT your dropbox doesn't work for me.
