Fender Rumble Club

No Pressure, that is why I like being part of this group! There was another group that I participated with on here.. there was some nice comparisons going between the item the group is mainly about and another instrument. Well one of the "fanbois" was letting it get to him and it didn't take long for it to show that it was getting under his skin that they were not talking about the instrument in loved so much! Here.. not mere a ruffled feather! I like that!
No matter how diverse, we are the best of the best!;)

I'm glad I don't have the where-with-all to afford such. I enjoy what I have, and do not desire more.

Not so much "desire more," More of find the "Close to perfect fit"

I needed something quick that I could swing budget wise for gigs that were coming up and I had a busted amp. It was this thread that lead me to the Rumbles in the first place. So I took a shot, and I really am digging what I have got. Never really gave Fender amps much thought, and now I am reading up and learning about what they have to offer. And I'm still thinking in terms of gigging needs/tone and budget. And Fender is ticking many if not all my boxes right now.

Now with the Rumble 500H and 210 cab, I have room to breath as I look around as the dust settles. I'm getting more comfortable with the tone and how to use it and liking that more vintage vibe vs the more modern as I have with the GK. And that is how I came across the Bassman 500. I'm really liking that idea. Taking the front of the Super Bassman and the power plant of the Rumble, and making a badass hybrid. I think that would suit me perfect for what the tones and gigs I do. And having the Rumble in the wings makes me all more confident. (Had a bad run with an Ampeg PF500 that kept going thermal all the time)

I wanted the 410 cab from the get go, but they sold out before I checked out and wouldn't have any in stock soon enough. I'm thinking Bassman 500 and 1 or 2x410cabs would be the perfect gigging machines for me. And I'm coming from the stand point of having too many failures with gear in the past year. So that 5 yr, warranty is just one more reason to look hard at Fender.

BTW, Jim's, now in tustin, formerly Irvine, is likely to beat any GC price, you just might have to wait a while for them to order it. I usually deal with Tom Sebastian, who actually sold me my first guitar in 1991 and is still there.

Good to know. I went to the Irvine store a few times but have not been to the Tustin one. So a 2-fer! Shop at Jim's Music, then 1 mile up the road to Tustin Brewing Company!

I'll name-drop Ubernator for the insider bro deal!

If you are going Bassman 500, I'd romp on the Fender Bassman Neo 610 if you love 10's, or a pair of Fender Bassman Pro 115 Neo cabinets. Either one are killer. Get them!

That 610 looks awesome, but not at 90 lbs! I put those days behind me. I'm not a spring chicken anymore.

I was sponsored with Peavey through a local music store back in the day, and I had the Pro500 Head and Pro410 cab and Pro115 cab. The 410 was 98lbs! It seemed like I have bunch of gigs in NY that were always up stairs! I didn't use the 115 much, it sounded much like a large fart.

I like the specs on the Neo cabs, but not too budget friendly. I like the Rumble cabs in that dept. The deal I have with my wife is any gear I buy needs to be paid for through gigs. My town doesn't pay that much, lol. But enough to have to file it on my taxes.... grrrr.

Had a chance to really push the Rumble 40 today. I've only really played the 40 at living room practice volume, and since I live in an apartment building I need to keep the noise within reason. Today my wife had friends over, so I ducked out with my Sabre and Rumble 40 to our practice place, where I'd booked a small solo studio. Thought I'd see what would happen if I really opened it up. Impressively loud - could keep up with a drummer quite well, I think. And sounding sweet all the way to the top.

One thing you should know: the Bassman 500 hybrid doesn't fit well on the Rumble 210 cab (unless you stack the cab sideways.)

You could make a simple plywood adapter and spray it flat black.

I plan on the sideways cabs or order the 410 cab. (or 2)

My thought was order another 210 to use with the Rumble and mod them with feet on the side to use with the Bassman or just get 410 I wanted from the get go (or 2) But my budget (and back) are thinking just get that 2nd 210. However, they are only $50 apart....

I have in the past really thought about a NEO 610

If memory serves me right, the NEO 610 is only 78 lbs
