I was in the neighbourhood where my fave music store is and a Rumble 200 followed me back to work. I'm shocked and amazed that this little combo has a lotta grumba and weighs very little. I was using an old Peavey 300 for my work band rehearsals but not anymore! The Peavey is being donated to a Youth Drop In Centre for their music room. Or maybe they can start a weight room with it.

I enjoy PUNCH maduro London Club petite coronas with Evan Williams 10 year old Single Barrel. Those little PUNCH pack a BIG flavor and pair well with almost any traditional rye recipe bourbon. This year's release of 2007 Evan Williams is especially tasty, and oh yeah buy some more Fender Rumbles
Punch has some good stuff. However, the only petite corona sized cigar that I can say I truly enjoy is a cuban Monte #4. I usually opt for a robusto, or if I have a couple hours, a gordo (6x60). Some of my faves include Man O' War Ruination, Rocky Patel Vintage '92, Alec Bradley Prensado, Ashton VSG, Oliva Serie V, Tatuaje Miami, and just about anything from DPG (esp. My Father).
Of course, if I had to smoke just one cigar for the rest of my life, I would probably choose the Arturo Fuente Hemingway Signature. So I guess my tastes run the gamut.
I'm not nearly as "sophisticated" on my libations. I often enjoy Johnny Black (a taste acquired as homage to one of my idols, Christopher Hitchens) or a cheaper single malt (<$40 bottle), but at the moment I am quite partial to, of all things, a delicious bourbon from a local Arizona distillery, Copper City. Utterly fantastic!

Have you tried the Whiskey del Bac products made here in Tucson? They have several styles including one that has its barley smoked over mesquite wood! It is intense; makes you feel that you are drinking a barbecue!
Sure, if you can afford Havanas. LOVE Montecristo #2's & 4's. I like standard corona 42 ring and true Churchills around a 44-46. 50 and over is just too big and unpleasant. Toros are OK because I can cut them to suit my mouth. Perfectos are just perfect. These days I need to smoke mild, so EMS. Havana Cohibas are nice and mild. Kind of a breakfast cigar. Remind me of the Winstons I smoked for 43 years. Buy more Fender Rumbles!

Well, my next gig is scheduled for this weekend, playing a teacher friends back to school party north of Houston. My rig is ready to go, I am back up to speed on our set list, and we even have a drummer working with us on this one! Only one problem and it is a biggie...
Not sure if my back is going to hold out. I had to stop PT due to budget issues and am trying to do it on my own, but it hasn't been that great. Have lots of work to do tonight on it, but I will NOT be able to schlep my gear, or the PA stuff. My BIL has volunteered to roadie for us and run the board for dinner and beer. He's pretty good at running a PA so why not?
I am seriously considering going BB King and using a chair if I can't get my back to stop screaming before Friday.

Back in the early 90's I was in a car accident and got 2 herniated discs in my lower back l4, l5s1. Worse pain I ever experienced in my life! I found some relief by putting my foot up on a milkcrate while playing. It took some of the pressure off my back. I did physical therapy, lots of ice and went to the gym. That all helped but I still have some issues with it to this day. Good luck!
Nothing wrong with either of those (I have the Lagavulin sitting in my cabinet right now), but my personal favourite - possibly of all time - is the Glenfarclas 21.
Yowsers! I bet it is good but being a 21 it must be very spendy, yes? The only Glenfarclas I have is their "105" (cask strength, 60%). Wonderful stuff. While it wasn't cheap, considering the proof, it is a good value.
