Got my first rumble yesterday, a 500 combo. I've been playing it side by side with my Ampeg BA115 this afternoon. I used to think my Ampeg sounded good. Next to the Rumble it sounds so hollow. No Growl, even after I adjusted the eq. Wow. I'm a believer now.
Show beats tell every time.I tried to tell my Ampeg and GK friends about the Rumbles until I let them play on mine... I think we're still friends.
The 105 is also one of my favourites. Interestingly, the 21 is actually slightly cheaper than the 105 over here, because alcohol is taxed by ABV, but it's still not cheap, at around $100 a bottle.Yowsers! I bet it is good but being a 21 it must be very spendy, yes? The only Glenfarclas I have is their "105" (cask strength, 60%). Wonderful stuff. While it wasn't cheap, considering the proof, it is a good value.

Okay dumb question.... Does anyone know of anywhere I could rent for a weekend, a Rumble 25? I've got an accoustic gig at a campground coming up that the 500 is simply way too big, and loud for (Even at the lowest volume setting it's too loud for this setting). I will be doing some accompaniment to 2 fairly skilled acoustic guitarists, more or less campfire songs between beers sort of stuff. And no we aren't college / high school kids, just working guys looking to blow some steam off with some beer, some fishing, and some music...
