Fender Rumble Club

I see, I dont really think the rumble500 is too boomy, I just think its boomy enough that the cab I wanna add should contain as little boominess as possible, I want more volume without added boomyness per se ;) I also play with bass eq around 10o clock btw.
 
I normally play through a GK MB212 combo (new Rumble rig is in the works).....I find myself in rooms where even the GK is boomy and boxy sounding, definitely messing with the eq can work. For example I've always instantly turn off the tweeter in any cab I use, so often i do it almost instinctively now. However I've discovered its usefulness in boomy, muddy rooms. Lower the bass, raise upper and lower mids, use the tweeter...this usually works for me.
