Fender Rumble Club

Anyone use the 1x15 Rumble cabs with heads other than the Rumble 500? Anyone using 2 of the 1x15 cabs together?
I run a Rumble 200 combo on top of the 115 and it is beyond my wildest expectations. Two 15s are so cool I still can't get over it. That gives me the full 200 watts and it is plenty loud enough for anything I will ever do. The two 15s interact with each other. Linnin explains it better. I just say that it is the best bass tone EVER!

Thank you gentlemen. You all confirmed my sentiments. Just wanted to make sure I wasn't going crazy. BTW: I sold the Florida home!
WHAT! TRAITOR:); Oh well, one less bassplayer to compete with but maybe 100 more to come. As far as the gigs are concerned; I'd take less money and have more fun if I didn't need the funds and maintain my loyalty/integrity. P/S-may come through that way in the spring while vacationing going North ( I want to see the club if ready).

I use two of the 115 cabs for mid to large venues and outdoor gigs. Some have mentioned these cab as being mid focused but I'm a jazz bass guy so I love me some mids. I love em and they are crazy light.

Which head are you using? I was thinking of getting 2 of these cabinets but I would be using a Mesa D800 head...

Would be awesome. Definitely hit me up. I decided to play bass on NY's Eve and stay local. But, I am not some one you have to worry about competing with on bass. I have a long way to go!

Boy does this bring out the old memories!

I was a yacht captain in the Mediterranean when this was #1. This and "Dancing Queen" were always "must dance" numbers in all dem Euro discos! One favorite disco was a converted gun emplacement which had been carved into the side of a cliff. The path to it was fine; it was coming back down after who-knows-how-many drinks that was perilous!

I have used the Rumble 200 combo on top of the 115 cab and it sounds great! I mean great great!
I have also used the Fender Bassman 500 hybrid head on top of the Rumble 115 cab.
At some future time I will get another Rumble 115. Just because.

Not to be a traitor, but I've had the Bassman 500 since late May and I have hardly used any other amp since. I grab the Rumble 40 or Rumble 200 for friendly local hootenannys, but the Bassman/Rumble rig is kind of the go-to rig. The honeymoon is still hot and heavy.

Thanks.... I tried a search, but maybe I'm wording it wrong but basically, my issue is I have a Mesa D800 that I used this past weekend with a Mesa Diesel 2x10 at a gig and it sounded great, so good in fact that I had 3 people come up to me after the gig and said I sounded fantastic. The only issue is that the 2x10 is a heavy sucker so I was looking at the Rumble 1x15 since it weighs half of the 2x10 but I worry because the Rumble 1x15 is 300 watts and I know the Mesa D800 puts out 400 watts at 8ohm so I don't want to blow the speaker..... any thoughts? Am I being too paranoid?

Is the Mesa 400 watts program or continuous? The Rumble 1x15 is 300 continuous and 600 program

Thanks for the reply....however, I don't know what that means or how to even check it?
Most manufacturers rate their amps at the highest level they can produce. It is known as peak or program power. The continuous or RMS power level is the average they put out. So if they claim 800, it will actually be 400 continuous. I doubt the Rumble 1x15 would have any problems with that at all.

It's 400watts RMS, so that's continuous power.
So unless you have it cranked considerably and bass heavy eq, it would handle it fine.

The bass player in my current favorite band [GrooveSession: listen to 'Babanawa' to hear these lads breakin' it loose] plays a Warwick Thumb bass into a Mesa Boogie M-Pulse 360 bass head w/ matching 4x10 cab and I seriously love his sounds so I have no problems with Mesa gear! Thing is, I can get pretty much those same tones out of my Fender basses and amps. Ronnie and I talked about this a while back and pretty much agree that the bass player has such a huge effect on the ultimate tone, given at least adequate gear.

It won't be an issue.

Had a relatively productive night putting the cab through its paces with a guitarist friend. We went through some of the songs that he or I weren't familiar with that we need to have down for the keyboardist/vocalist we'll be working with.

He had nothing but positive things to say about my tone, much like with the combo. He seems to appreciate the low end forward, punchy sound as I think feeling it helps him with the rhythm of the songs.
