Fender Rumble Club

Can you still get a Fender Rumble member number.....
I have a Rumble 200. Thinking about adding a 15in Rumble cabinet.
Does anyone use this setup or is it even worth. Thinking about getting it for a little extra low end when needed....
Well, since it is you, I found a number in the warehouse. Welcome RumbleRocker #749. Grab that 15 and Rumble on!

Check out @GregT and @OldFunBass they both have Rumble 200 combos + Rumble 115 rigs. If I were still gigging I'd have a Rumble 115 or two also.

The difference with the second 15 inch speaker is absolutely amazing!! You would not be disappointed at all.

You nailed it, it's a Sterling Classic.
I didn't know they made one.

Kindof odd since I didnt think there was a sterling model in the era that the stingray classic is basically a reissue of (pre ebmm)

An interesting hybrid though, assuming it has the jazz neck and smaller body, but with the exact electronics of the stingray classic?

Looks like a sterling, sounds like a stingray, a "reissue" of a bass that never existed.

I really wanted a sterling 17 years ago but ended up with a Warwick FNA instead, same nut width, similar electronics, more aggressive wood, same price (but a GC receiving error made mine significantly less, I could not pass it up).

Unfortunately I haven't had much luck with the Rumbles.

The 500C combo I bought had a cosmetic defect, so I returned it and got a new one. This one I just opened up and the volume pot is scratchy, looks like I'll have to return this one too. It's a shame because I really love the way they sound..

Maybe 3rd time is a charm..

Before you head back to the store....is it scratchy after it warms up? The master volume pot is scratchy on both of my 500C Combos when I first turn them on. It calms down after a minute or so and is silent after that.

Unfortunately I haven't had much luck with the Rumbles.

Just tried out 1 of my other basses again on my Rumble 200 (for fun even though I don't play it much) with all the controls flat, except the low mid which is at 2 pm & the vintage switch pushed in (since day 1).The bass is all stock it is a 1989 MIK Squier Precision. The Rumble made the Squier sound great with a nice warm bass tone (even with the bad MIK pickups) and even with the vintage switch off, the Rumble still made the Squier sound good. Defiantly full marks to the Rumble for that .

I searched, but can't seem to find a club for those of us who use and love the Fender Rumble series of amps. Any interest?

I've been playing at home with my Rumble 30 since late January and it seems to me like this amp puts out a good share for being so small! Originally I was looking at the Rumble 15 but went with the 30 because of the extra input jack, more wattage, and I read online reviews which said the 30 would be good enough to play with a band in a small venue even versus the 15 which didn't have as much bang.

Hope to hear form some fellow Rumble fans soon! :D

So this makes me the founding member, #1? I feel this is a big honor for someone so new on the forum!
Count me in. I've got a 500bass combo series

Here is the official (slightly unofficial) list. I need Edward G and joebar to please verify that they do want a number. I took the liberty of assuming both of you did want a number. :)

01. BumbleB
02. BassSurfer
03. Edward G
04. joebar
05. tabdog
06. rocksmoot
07. adk teleman

Have any of you used your Rumbles with other instruments? We recently bought an electric cello and I'm assuming it could be played with this amp, but we haven't tried it yet. If anybody knows anything about how well these two pieces play together please let me know!

Thank you for the continued interest! :D
I've had a Rumble 500 bass combo for over a year. (only 36lbs.!!) it puts out better than the old GK 700 bass combo with out a 2nd cab. Its really unbelievable. I never would have bought another Fender bass after their very sad, ill-fated Bassman amps of yore

Welcome everyone!

I've been impressed with these amps really living up to their name... Last week I had the volume on my 30 at half down in the basement and the ceiling beams were vibrating!

Nice looking set up, Strat Hater. How many more axes are hiding on that rack? :)
Add me too please.
