Can you still get a Fender Rumble member number.....
I have a Rumble 200. Thinking about adding a 15in Rumble cabinet.
Does anyone use this setup or is it even worth. Thinking about getting it for a little extra low end when needed....
Welcome !

Gravedigger Dav will issue you a number as soon as he sees your post.

And I'm sure someone will advise you on the Rumble 115 shortly.

I added a rumble 115 cabinet to my rumble 200 combo and I am very happy with it. The second 15 cabinet really adds another dimension to the sound. Does a whole lot more than just release the whole 200 watts. You will be glad you got it, trust me.

Eminence Deltalite II 2512.
So far, liking it a lot
Flatter response, less boominess, more clarity, more output
More efficient speaker gives more volume at a given setting
I also swapped the speaker of my V3 100C for a Deltalite II 2512 when I did my combo mod (see my signature) and agree on the improvements.

One thing to mention is that the metal ring of the Deltalite speaker is visible through the fabric under certain light conditions whereas the stock speaker is completely black. That may or may not bother you.

I played a five-stringer through a 15 and it was ok at low levels. It didn't kill it but there was something to be desired. I actually tried to kill it. All knobs at full blast and while it was loud enough to hear in a band setting, it sounded like I was playing bass lines on a guitar. Very thin and "garage band" sounding. Gave it to my nephew knowing that it was pretty much bullet-proof and bedroom qualified.
The 15 has some challenges due to its size and construction. I bought one for vacation practice, and the size is great, but it did sound quite thin. My solution was to open it up, and fill the cabinet with wadding. I used the synthetic kind you use to stuff cushions and soft toys, which is cheap and readily available. The 15 now sounds much rounder and fuller, and that boxy sound is gone. It's still a 15 watt amp with an 8" speaker of course, so don't expect miracles, but it's now a usable and reasonable sounding practice amp.

I wasn't able to find a 15 to demo, but I did see and play with a 25 and a five string yesterday after work. I think one will do just fine, there's an Eden at another store I want to check out first but I think the Rumble is going to be it.
