I played through my 500C last weekend and everything was fine as usual.
Today, I got home from work a little earlier, so I thought I would make the most of the time to record a couple of things I have pending.
I plugged in, turned on, and my first note was greeted with a sound that made me think that a driver was damaged.
I made sure everything was at the usual settings, checked overdrive wasn't on etc. but everything seemed fine. I played around with settings and the sound remained (slightly more or less present depending on EQ).
I thought it was a driver in the cab, so I plugged in headphones and got the exact same sound.
I know thought it could be the bass, or the cable, so I tried numerous basses and various cables, all with the same result.
I checked the basses and cables straight into the sound card and they sound fine. So I plugged the Rumble into the sound card, and got the exact same noise throught the line out.
I am out of ideas to try, so...
Any ideas as to what may be causing this sound?
